Fits perfectly fine on my 5 gallon jug. Works great and doesn’t need much pumping to get water going even when the isn’t much left in the tank. Water flow is constant until you are almost out of water then it starts spurting water. I’d recommend holding the glass of water a bit longer under the spout because water will keep coming out for a second longer after you are done pumping. It is easy to assemble and clean.

Bought this to help me refill Jugs of water from the 5 gallon jug. Works nicely as long as you keep pumping. My original problem was I wasn't continuously pumping and I thought it wasn't working right.

This pump does NOT fit American Maid 5-gallon screw cap jugs with 53mm cap. From the description and questions I was under the impression that it would, but there is a lot of wiggle room and so the pump will not work. Those jugs will not work with basically any manual water pump you get sadly, and I ended up returning those jugs and kept this pump.This pump is good quality and I love that it has a cover for the spout. I use this when we are camping and it's easy for everyone to use, even the children. I do wish the pump would come with a mesh bag for holding the tubes and cleaning brush so they do not get lost when not in use, but otherwise this pump works wonderfully and I expect it to last a couple seasons.

For years, I've been wrestling with jugs of water for my carnivorous plants, then later a very large house plant collection. I would either take them to a refilling station or empty my rain barrel. Last year, I bought two pumps at Home Depot and they were such a phenomenal improvement to the old method of hoisting 5 gallon jugs of water and trying to pour them into smaller receptacles.The big problem with those, is they are only designed to fit one specific brand and I had jugs of varying sizes from different manufacturers. Also, one of them started getting difficult with tightening and loosening. I ordered one of these, and it has sat for several weeks until I finally took it out of the box today and so far, it has been very easy installation on two completely different jugs. I will be ordering more.

This pump is not good. It works okay with a good amount of force which is much more than I’m used to getting water out. So to go from something that takes practically no effort to this is kind of annoying but not a big deal. But then when I got to about the last gallon it doesn’t work at all and I have to take it off and just pour from the top lifting the entire 5 gallon jug. Totally ridiculous. Don’t buy unless that’s acceptable to you.

There is NO other pump, manual or USB that comes close to this one,I tried a few before buying the Brio here and I can tell you not to waste your time on anything else.Fit:I have a 3 gallon New Wave brand and it fits great, there is also a 5 gallon New Wave that I am sure it will work fine,The hose is actually pipes that come in two lengths, I used one long and one regular and sawed off one inch off one of them to get a perfect fit. Sawing them to fit is really something anyone can do, I used a $17Japanese Hand Saw 6 Inch Double Edge Sided Pull Saw bought on Amazon that is about 15 inches long and is useful for many things.Pumping water:The size of the pump took me by surprise but turns out it is not any issues but instead the pump is amazingly fast, It only requires 3 pumps for an average water bottle and there is no leak once you stop pumping. Amazing!Cost:The $20 paid for this is well worth it if it holds up,
