This product is EXACTLY what I was looking for: One button for communicating back and forth, an on/off switch, and an antenna that doesn't bend or swivel in any way. It requires batteries & is not a rechargable item. It is made of plastic and is durable enough for an eight or eighty year old. The functionality is super simple and easy to operate. Definitely kid friendly and handy, even for adults who are interested in a simple design that doesn't have a lot of stations to find and coordinate with the other device. I wasn't looking for a cheap product, just one that was affordable and easy on the wallet...And I found it!In the future, we may splurge on a different design, but for now, this product meets and exceeds all of my expectations for a fun, easy and convenient product to use for little hands and peace of mind for the family.
