Bloch Dance A0185 Covert Elastic Ballet/Pointe Shoe Elastic, Pink, One Size

I purchased these for my daughter who needed to crisscross her elastic on her point shoes due to twisting in the shoe Some of the other brands of invisible or covert elastic are very flimsy and rolled when she would try to put the shoe on. This elastic is very sturdy and easy to sew, and we did not have the rolling problems with it. I’ve purchased it many times and it’s a great pointe shoe elastic. I would say it’s worth the money. If you sew the elastic crisscrossed you will only be able to use it for one pair of pointe shoes but if you just sew it straight across your ankle you could get two pairs out of it. It’s a pretty great product. I expected it to be hard to sew onto the pointe shoe although that wasn’t the case it was surprisingly easier to sew compared to regular elastic. I do like how it’s not super noticeable while wearing tights. I’ve only used it for about 2-3 weeks now but so far it’s held up well I will be sure to update this within the next 3 months to let you know how it’s going.

The elastic is very sturdy and didn’t come undone when I was sewing my pointe shoes. It stayed together and is such a pretty color.

Didn't realize how thin the band is. Also material is like holely. Had to be very delicate when adding to shoe. I worry it won't last long and will be needing to attach more

Maybe I didn't pay attention to the description, but this elastic is wider than I am accustomed to using on my pointe shoes and it is like a mesh, which I was not expecting. However, I find both of these traits are a plus! The thickness of the elastic means the pressure on my heels is better distributed, and the mesh material made it significantly easier to sew onto my shoes. Excited about this find!

I love this elastic, it doesn’t cut into my foot like other small ones do. plus, it’s very discrete!

I thought this was regular ballet elastic but it has ridges and transparent lines. The covert description I overlooked when I ordered it. It looks great and was just as easy to sew as the regular elastic. My daughter likes how it feels on the shoes.
