Pioneer DMH-WT3800NEX 9" Digital Multimedia Receiver (Renewed)

A refurb is always a bit of a risk, item came packed in a pioneer carton, totally new, it works wonderful, crytal clear music with powerful bass....android auto works wonderful with my samsung phone....i did not know Toyota's stereos are now pioneer, no wonder my my menu and my son's corolla cross look exactly the same....100% satisfied, totally recommended price/Quality ratio is unbeatable too.

Honestly I seen some bad reviews not only on here but other place and I see why so many ppl are having issues. First problem I had was the rebooting of the unit. It only functioned like that because I had a meastro RR that wasn’t flashed correctly. Now that it is it works flawlessly. The sounds is great. The mounting is not that bad I did it my own way and didn’t listed to there instructions where they want you to utilize a spacer when they clearly show on their website you can mount it without it in their own photos of the unit advertisement. It’s fast when connecting to Apple CarPlay wirelessly and I haven’t had any issues. I also bought it knowing it was refurbished so I thought it would come in a brown box but nope it looks like it was brand new from pioneer. With a box all accessories and everything wrapped like it was new. The date code on the box is 3/2024 I bought this in 9/2024. Anyways if you have issue with the device after install it’s probably operator error or installer error. I’ve been a mechanic for 12yrs so I’ve done my fare share of radio installs.

Honestly love the size. This renewed radio is glitchy as hell though. Android auto usually doesn't let me change the connected devices volume. To use BT connect I need to hit the iPhone connection then select my phone, then BT when the menu pops up. Recently started to auto back to Android auto by itself, which again, usually won't let me chnage the connected phone volume. It auto connects to wifi which takes 30-90 seconds to auto switch to Android auto unless I shut off my phones wifi. The phone app functionally is actually not good. The mic it comes with is less than mediocre. I have aftermarket speakers and a 2003 sierra. Going through crutchfield I got a kit that allowed me to use steering wheel controls and they had a custom wire harness that was absolutely worth the money. Hopefully you're renewed set it better but mine is glitchy

Glad I bought reman’d. fantastic deal. Installed this on my 2004 Ford Explorer and it worked out great even though crutchfield states this unit will not work for my car. I chose pioneer because I wanted a major brand name and not a cheap Chinese off brand. Also, pioneer made the audiophile system for my vehicle so I kept with the pioneer theme. Speaking of the audio, the sound system in my explorer was pretty solid but this head unit really brought it to life. Door speakers punch and sound much clearer and the subwoofer hits way stronger and tighter. If you have a ford with the subwoofer, look into buying a 12v to 5V step down so your subwoofer doesn’t pop at startup. I used a double din dash kit from metra and modified it so that the unit sits in the lower slot as opposed to the upper slot. Very minor modification but it nooks more natural that way. Installation was a little bit of a challenge but I haven’t installed a head unit with this many features before. Was able to utilize the GPS, SiriusXM, rear camera functionality, and steering wheel controls with the proper additional equipment but it looks fantastic. It’s not the fastest system but not slow by any means and for the price it’s fantastic. I love how it pairs with my iPhone for CarPlay as soon as I start the car. No connection issues. It takes up very little space inside the dash as it is a single din head unit. The system comes with a spacer to give the display more of a floating look but mine looked fine without the spacer. Overall very glad I made this update. Really brings my old car up to date with today’s tech.

Broke 1 month after the warranty expire . Pioneer is building garbage radios

So this went into a 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth. And thanks to a dash mounting kit, and the idata maestro RR and harness it went wonderfully. They said it was like new (used), and it was. I didn't see any evidence it even came out of the package, none of screws had wear marks, wires all had factory bends. And it works so well, the screen is great, if have car data functions at my finger tips I wish I had on my gauge cluster, i retained my factory steering wheel buttons, and gained android auto (it has apple, but, ick:) ). I am so happy in a car that already makes me smile, now that smile is bigger.

I installed the deck easily into my 2017 Kia Forte and could not have imagined how much I'd be pleased with this device. I had a Pioneer AVH600EX previously installed in the car which was good for its time but in 2024 I could no longer have a resistive touchscreen deck in my car without Apple Car Play. The deck was easy to install using my already wired up harness given my previous connections and it was a simple install. Sound quality is great as usual and the features are great as well. Moving from an older deck to this was great, the touch response is great and smooth, it could've been quicker but I guess I can't compare this deck to my iPhone but nonetheless it was a great buy. It came with all the attachments, cords and screws as though it was a brand new deck. Although it is refurbished its in an excellent condition that has surprised me a lot but I will continue to take advantage of Amazon's refurbished section of products as the quality is like brand new. It even came with every single item as described by Pioneer that is in the box. 10/10 purchase I must say.

Amazing radio very easy installation and is a nice upgrade in my vehicle. Product came as if it was brand new very nice.
