LinkMore XG550 256GB 2.5” SATA III (6Gb/s) Internal SSD, Solid State Drive, Read Speed Up to 540MB/s, 2.5 inch for Laptop and PC Desktop

I have had no problem with these SATA 3 SSD's drives. I originaly bought LinkMore SSD for my backup computer as an HDD replacement. The speed and bootime increased dramatically. The price was Good and They fit right. They have been working just fine. The First one I bought worked well replacing the HDD I'm my older backup computer. In fact I bought a second one backup storage for my newer laptop also. Plus the price was very good 👍!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This product is working great so far I purchased two of these ssd's it's great value for the cost.

You'd be right to think that SATA SSDs are largely a commodity item at this point. Despite this, that doesn't mean that all of those SSDs are created equal. In the case of the LinkMore XG500 480GB 2.5” SATA III, you get a drive that's in the lower half of performance, compared to other SATA SSDs. Blame the use of TLC flash, and the unit being DRAM-less. Still, if the goal of your purchase is to replace a mechanical hard drive, or to add cheap storage to an old machine, the LinkMore will fit the bill. If there's anything that's working against the LinkMore, it's that there are plenty of SATA SSDs in the 480-512GB range - priced at or below the LinkMore. To be clear, there's virtually no performance distinction between DRAM-less, TLC SSDs, so you're probably buying on the basis of name recognition and price. Conditionally Recommended

Used it for a year working great and fast

Made my old HP new again. hdd to SSD is life changing. Also using Linux helped it speed up.

The speed on this one is slow. Nowhere near what was expected or advertised

I needed more space to setup a egpu for my mini pc to play better games this definitely helped and it is affordable, just plug it in and go!

L'SSD funziona molto bene, peccato che di 480 gb gli effettivi siano solo 447, ci siamo persi 33 gb per strada...... fatto fomattazioni e provato tutti i metodi possibili per recuperare i gb mancanti, ma niente.....cmq per le mie esigenze e per il costo, posso dire che sono soddisfatto

Livraison rapide et suis très satisfait car montage sans problème sur Laptop HP, installation Windows puis toutes les mises à jour jusqu'à Windows 11, SSD fluide et réactif. Je commanderai un à 1To pour autre laptop DELL.
