Sample Pans, Aluminum Pans Size 3.94 inch for MA Series Moisture Analyzers (Pack of 50)

This set of pans was great for measuring moisture and for calibrating some other tools. Lightweight and versatile, they're easy to clean, weigh, measure, and just generally use for varied functions in the laboratory setting. The pans appear well made, with no visible blemishes and really good accuracy.

The pans are stacked with a protective layer in between each pan to keep them from sticking together or getting scuffed up. They are well packaged. The metal is about 0.0175" thick-- so I'm guessing 26 or 28 gauge sheet metal. They are a bit flexible without being flimsy. The OD of the overall pan (including the lip) is about 3.97" which tapers some as the flat base has an ID of about 3.6". These sample pans are a good fit for my Ohaus scale. The pans are sized so that they can be taken easily in and out of the Ohaus scale pan I have, thereby facilitating the weighing multiple subjects without having to clean the Ohaus scale pan each time. I weighed a bunch of these sample pans (with the plastic protector removed) and found them to be slightly inconsistent in weight though. The scale has to be zeroed or the tare function utilized each time to be accurate, but really, this is something that should be done anyway. The size of these pans are uniform and they don't flex easily. Certainly a nice addition to a lab, highly recommended.

Works for my purposes of measuring moisture in my food product. Lightweight and easy to use.

These are about the perfect size for my purposes and they work great.

Fifty individual pans, each with plastic over the metal.You get a roughly square box with all fifty packed in tight.The metal was clean. I don't have an MA Series Analyzer to try them out in, but I assume they fit.

Well made, all pans seems to be consistent. Has a protective plastic layer between pans to keep from sticking and eliminate contamination.

They’re packaged nicely & are accurately sized. Quality is top notch & they serve their purpose flawlessly. Very happy with these pans.
