Good idea but needs some work.
Good idea but poor execution. All of the hose clamps are the wrong style and size so every joint leaked like a major waterfall. Once I purchased the correct gas hose clamps, the leaks were fixed but it should come from the factory without leaks. The gauge was broken and fell into the tank at the factory or during delivery. Found out it was broken on the first fuel fill of the tank. It seems the plastic knob holding the gauge is just too small and not substantial enough to survive shipping. The gas pump works great after the repairs and is very powerful. Good idea but it just needs some revamping to get more stars and a recommended purchase.

No lift points you will need forks or creative straps to lift or move.
All around an excellent product, everyone at the farm and our local delivery service were impressed by the unit. It's fairly simple in its construction, filling, maintenance and access lids. The gauge unit comes out readily for cleaning and inspection. The pump handle was surprisingly well built, and the hose was pleasantly heavy duty yet flexible. It was much more than I expected, thinking that surely all of the money would be in the pump not the hoses and filling mechanism. The power supply cables have good size alligator clips, with a grounding strap connected to the motor, that is a backup ground for the motor to ensure there's no voltage differential between pump internals and pump case. The pump is rapid and responsive, the entire unit delivers better than expected. It came on a plastic pallet fully wrapped in clear cellophane along with a thin layer of bubble wrap type material and a tie down ratchet strap. Getting rid of the packaging was no big deal except for the plastic pallet however by the time you're getting one of these units a plastic pallet is probably the least of your concerns. The shipping was contentious as the tracking number and shipping providers site did not reflect the actual location nor delivery times of the unit itself. A week after purchase it showed it to be in Miami, a week later it showed it to be in Atlanta, the day of delivery I wouldn't have known had I not signed up for email notification, it came without notice and update on the shippers site. All in all it was a great experience and the reason I gave it four stars is as follows. The unit itself, dollar value, appearance, quality, pump, connections, line, pump handle, all top quality. My issue is as your approaching it, looking at your substantial investment, the latches that hold the lid down, the one on the left side is sitting at 1:00 7:00 the one on the right is 12:00 6:00, and they are riveted in on the bottom, and nuts sunk into the plastic on the top. So as I go to close the lid and latch it the left latch is useless you have to use two hands to force it over the latch, the right latch just flips around in the breeze as the latch catch on top is too close to the cantilever lever on the bottom. I'm doing a terrible job of explaining it however, looking at the left latch it looks twisted clockwise, looking at the right latch it's perfect except it flips around readily and kind of serves no purpose. I can drill the rivets and straighten the bottom latches out I'm sure, however one would imagine attaching two latches cannot be rocket science and the fact that I'll be able to fix them is proof of that point. You won't be disappointed for your investment, has stated elsewhere it won't fit under your bed cover, it's got good reliefs for the lifting forks, it offers no lifts points from the top. So if you have it in the front of a pickup for either going to have to wrap straps around it to pick it up or slide it to the back and get forks under it. Beyond that I'll let others speak to the product I would be ashamed of latching mechanism but nothing's perfect in this world and if it was we would ruin it by now!

Limited fuel stops.
Works good, I used it for diesel, needed extra fuel, the extra 40 gallons gives me piece of mind when towing 40’ 5th wheel.

This is going to be a problem!!
This slip tank looked nice in the pics, I had plans of putting 10 more feet of hose on it so it would reach the fuel tank fill on my boat when it's hooked to my pickup. First, the Owners Manual tells you nothing about it, secondly it's made in Italy and everything looks to be metric so replacing the hose that leaks on both ends may be a challenge because of the 13/20 size which I assume is metric. It does pump OK but I have gas spraying from around the hose clamps on both ends of the hose and the clamps are tight. I'm going to look into it more when I get home from the lake but I didn't expect any issues from a small slip tank that cost over $1100. Where is your Quality Control, AM-Tanks???

handy
I bought this so I could fuel my boat whenever, while the boat is on the trailer at home. Saves time otherwise spent at the fuel dock.

Built for real use, but requires HD Batteries and a beefy Vehicle.
I picked this unit up for refueling equipment on our property and hauling fuel for field equipment. After a couple of weeks of use, I’m impressed with how well-engineered it is. The 12V pump is strong and surprisingly quiet — I measured about 8 GPM steady once it was primed. It’s self-priming and features built-in thermal protection, a big plus for longer fills on hot days. The included wiring and clamps are of decent quality and long enough (16 ft) to reach the dual battery in my Jeep Rubicon. The anti-static hose and automatic nozzle feel commercial-grade — not the cheap kind that leaks around the crimp. Having a built-in fuel gauge makes life easier when you’re managing multiple tanks, and the 2" vented fill cap keeps pressure balanced without any vapor lock issues. The tank itself is no joke — heavy-duty, rotomolded polyethylene with internal baffles, so it doesn’t slosh around when the Jeeps are moving. The forklift pockets and tie-down grooves are practical touches you don’t realize you need until you’re loading it to the brim. The lockable lid is sturdy and keeps curious hands out. ✅ Pros: - 12V pump delivers a true 8 GPM with smooth operation - Solid wiring, clamps, and an automatic nozzle included - Built-in gauge and vented cap make refueling simple - Rotomolded antistatic tank feels commercial-grade -Forklift pockets + tie-down grooves = easy to move and secure (IF ITS EMPTY!) -Low profile, fits in the rear of a Jeep Rubicon JLU ⚠️ Cons: -The pump draws a fair bit of current — make sure you’ve got a good 12V source, dual batteries or high amperage batteries are a must. -The lid latch could use a slightly beefier lock if left in public areas - If it is filled beyond 50%, you can forget moving it without a crane. Ever tried to move a large aquarium filled with water? It weighs that much. - Expect a huge impact on your fuel bill if you transport this item full; that's not the product's fault, but I want to be transparent in all aspects of its use. -- Value for the Money? Maybe Summary: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Despite some solid "Cons", All in all, this is a professional-grade mobile fuel tank that’s perfect for farms, job sites, or anyone tired of juggling jerry cans. It’s built smart, runs quietly, and is clearly designed by people who’ve actually used this kind of equipment in the field. I only wish it had a 120VAC option, as I intend to demount the tank in the winter and use it from inside a storage building.

Literally every single connection in this thing leaked when I primed everything for the first time. Was able to tighten clamps on all connections and stop leaks but the pump itself leaks right from the pump housing. Attempted tightening screws with no success. Still leaks bad. Would like a replacement pump from the seller. Please contact me regarding this. Update: With multiple emails back and forth, been waiting 2 months for a replacement pump. I’m continually told “next week”, “next week”. Tank is in use daily with a leaking pump. Do not buy.
