Strong hold and easy washout

I think this is a good product, it's just not perfect for me. To summarise: very dry gritty clay, quite tricky to apply to dry hair, good enough hold but it's heavy so will drop, amazing texture, decent endurance, washes out largely with water and fully with shampoo, leaves my hair feeling plump, thick and healthy. It's effective as a pre styler and post styler, but for post styling I usually have to finish off with another product to apply the more structured styles I go for. If you're going for neat classic styles e.g. side parts or pompadours I wouldn't recommend but it's a very good product nevertheless - much better for messy, flowy, natural styles. For me, this wouldn't be a product I would reliably trust when I am doing my hair for a special occasion - I've had some great hair days with this but equally days where it just doesn't work for me. This shouldn't take away from how good a product it is and I'd probably buy again as a bit of a 'wild card' to have in the pomade arsenal, but there are better, more user friendly hair clays out there.

It has small to no shine, hair doesn’t look greasy + not that hard to scoop like everyone says i have fine straight hair, and it works well for me

Performs better the. Moroccan oil texture clay. Slightly difficult to take out of the jar. All clays can be like that at the start just needs warming up a bit longer.

Strong hold. But clumps hair when applied to damp hair. Cannot be apples dry, it will pull your hair out when applying.

This stuff is absolutely stunning. Revolutionary even. I’ve suffered from scalp folliculitis for nearly 15 years and this is the only thing I can put on it that doesn’t cause a flare up. I’ve now cut my hair slightly longer for the first time and can manage it quite well with this. I also used the pomade which is a lot weaker and greasier feeling but still high quality and I suppose it depends on the look you’re after. Yes I’ve used stronger clays, it’s probably closer to your average brands medium hold, but it’s all natural and doesn’t irritate my scalp. One strange side effect of this is I wash my hair way less. I probably used to shampoo too often but with this my scalp feels really nourished. I find every week or so using some cerave as shampoo and using dr organic manuka honey conditioner is a winning combination for scalp health.

The product was completely dry on arrival, hence had to return it for refund.

Reasonable hold for your style. Smells pleasant. Glass container is a bit heavy, if you want it in your toiletry bag on your travels. A bit pricey, but the product does work well

American Gardens is a phenomenal hair clay and another great product from Shear Revival. The pros: scoops and applies to hair easy, provides excellent hold, tames frizz and fly aways, delivers awesome texture, allows reworkable manageability, doesn’t weigh your hair down, dries to a natural matte finish, has all day longevity and washes out no problem. I also really like the light citrusy scent. Cons: none

Tal cual lo anuncian, fija bastante y no deja nada de brillo. Comparada con otras marcas (la de Moroccanoil), es mucho más seca y hay que frotar más para calentarla en las manos. Al ser tan seca el truco está en dejarte el pelo un pelin húmedo (te secas con la toalla un poco) y ya se aplica de forma perfecta, sin tirones, ni perder pelos con el peine. La uso en casa ya que tengo que trabajarla un pelin más (nada exagerado), pero para el gimnasio por ejemplo que ando con más prisa uso otras un poco más maleables. Me la suelo aplicar al mediodía, puedo dormir con ella y a la mañana siguiente mojandome un poco el pelo la reactivo sin tener que echar más producto. En la al almohada ni rastro de manchas, ni nada. El olor muy agradable, por cierto. La volvería a comprar.

Besonders bei dichtem, schwer zu bändigendem Haar (ca. 10 cm Länge) leistet das Produkt sehr gute Arbeit. Keyfacts: • Starker Halt: Perfekt geeignet für schwer bändiges Haar, die Frisur hält den ganzen Tag. • Matte Oberfläche: Sorgt für einen natürlichen Look ohne störenden Glanz. • Natürliche Inhaltsstoffe • Duft: Der Duft (Lorbeer und Tannennadel) ist sicherlich gewöhnungsbedürftig und nicht jedermanns Sache, meiner Freundin und mir gefällt er aber gut. Er wirkt weniger künstlich als die üblichen Produkte vom Markt. Im Alltag oder in den Haaren nehme ich ihn nicht wahr. • Ergiebigkeit: Zwar etwas teurer, aber sehr sparsam im Verbrauch. Hinweis: Die Konsistenz kann chargenabhängig variieren, ist aber trotzdem zuverlässig im Halt. Insgesamt ein hochwertiges Produkt für alle, die Wert auf natürliche Inhaltsstoffe und starke Performance legen.

I absolutely love the smell of this which has a subtle orange rind start and earthy follow through. Possibly the best smell in hair product I've had. The hold is decently strong and feels natural, at the end of the day my hair has a nice healthy soft feeling and doesn't feel like there's synthetic product in it. Even after applying it's not hard to wash off your hands unlike the wax I'm using currently.

Dopo varie prove (uso fissatori per capelli da ‘anta anni) ho molto probabilmente trovato il prodotto definitivo. Non unge e non è lucido, e questo è per me molto importante. Non so se dipende dalla confezione che è arrivata a me, il prodotto si presenta molto duro e di conseguenza di difficile raccolta, ma la cosa la si supera senza difficoltà. Sui capelli medio/corti ne basta poco per ottenere l’effetto fissante, se poi uno desidera un effetto visivo molto scolpito il mio consiglio è di procedere per gradi e non tutto in una volta sola, anche se i capelli si lavorano per un po’ prima che Il prodotto si asciughi. La durata è ottima, arrivo a notte dalle 8 del mattino anche con una bora moderata. Il lavaggio avviene senza problemi con un normale lavaggio. Per quanto mi riguarda è un ottimo prodotto, lo consiglio a chi cerca un effetto non lucido, duraturo e che non appesantisca i capelli.
