absolutely an amazing upgrade from OEM my screen died on my car the radio started to pop and crackle even when turned off. lone behold it was a $3 little amplifier inside the unit itself it basically fried and cooked itself. the first radio i ordered had a dead screen they sent me a new one to replace the other one that was first ordered now its absolutely flawless works fast GPS works great 4G works great, controls and functions are simple to use. connecting my phone to the radio was easy, best price for a good unit, any ford focus looking for an upgrade go for this do the highest option and get ready to have a blast. YouTube and Netflix right through the radio.

UPDATE 11/11/2025: The unit has randomly powered off multiple times since installation. It has happened while the car is in motion and when the car has been parked. Installation on a 2014 Ford Focus Se So far so good! Installation wasn’t too extreme. Luckily I found videos with similar product installations that guided me through. Be careful because the screen scratches very easily!!! Don’t really understand the whole memory GB feature because I’m using it for Apple CarPlay. Wish there was a manual explaining all the features and specifications but there isn’t. I was able to connect via wireless and wired for Apple CarPlay. Both work great. I used my phone as a test dummy to connect because this is a gift to my daughter and now I don’t know how to disconnect completely so that it starts fresh with her info. Haven’t tested Bluetooth connection, but I know microphone works because I used it to voice search something on Google. Steering wheel buttons DO NOT WORK. Don’t know how to fix this issue and don’t want to attempt to pull it out again because of all the fine scratches on it. Overall, looks great and so far it works. Wish there was more in depth manual for ease of use.

The first unit failed shortly after installation. It worked for about 10 minutes before the screen went black, and soon after, I noticed a burning smell. Luckily, I hadn’t secured the bottom screws yet, so I was able to quickly remove the unit from the dash. It was smoking, so I immediately unplugged everything. I ordered a replacement and returned the defective unit to Amazon a few hours ago. The second unit is working great! I also installed an additional USB port for easier access. Climate control and steering wheel buttons are functioning perfectly. I have the upgraded SONY audio system (2012 Focus SEL), and even the stock subwoofer is working. When I shift into reverse, the screen displays the backup camera interface, but I haven’t been able to get the camera to work. I connected the yellow video cable, but there’s no video feed when I put the car in reverse. I plan to reach out to the seller for assistance. The installation process was mostly plug-and-play, though I had to search through various online videos—each one slightly different. My stock Ford Sync stopped working years ago, and I haven’t had a radio in this car for a long time, so I’m thrilled to finally have music again without relying on an earbud!

Having trouble with the 2gb version. It turn off suddenly sometimes. Like overheating. Eaven that I set the fan to work continuously

This screen is nice and easy to install, first one burnt up in a couple of weeks. Got a hassle free replacement and have used it for a couple of months. You will need to know someone to wire the back up camera or have some decent automotive skill and wouldnt recommend for someone who isnt tech savy. When it runs into issues they are hard to resolve. I'm doing low rating because the wireless android auto option is great but also has a hard time connecting and staying connected. Certain areas it drops out completely. Good value for the money though. The 4gb of ram is actually like 0.5 gb of ram because the system is poorly optimized. Can barely handle doing any task and offline maps is bad. I only use the radio and Android auto wireless. Wish it had better internet connection because it doesn't connect well at range. My audio cut out and I had to completely reset my connection it even messed up my phone.

Instructions were a little vague, but got it in looks factory. Great product recommended.

Okay, this thing works great for music and ease of CarPlay, besides that this sucks. My steering wheel buttons no longer work and I spent hours researching, nothing fixed it, in addition what’s even worse is my AC does not work at all now, also their support person doesn’t text back. Don’t buy this! Faster way to flush a couple hundred bucks down the toilet.
