CRAFTSMAN Universal L-to-T Allen Wrench Hex Key Set, 20 Piece (CMHT26028)

This hex wrench set is a quality product for a great price point. I purchased it for the addition of the T handle which gives you the leverage you need to remove and tighten hex bolts. It includes both SAE and metric hex wrenches.

Way better than I expected. I have used hex head wrenches with clumsy not very sold L to T adapters before. This is far superior. I have been using a standard 1/4" hex wrench for a mill vise. Getting a solid grip on to make a really tight squeeze was not easy. This makes it easy. It is solidly constructed and easy to grip and turn. Worth more than I paid.

Was sick of going through Allen wrenches in a pouch when I needed them. I had some small metric and standard wrenches in a newer set with plastic holders and went for this set for larger ones. Nice set, nice handle for what I use them for. If you need small sizes, you will need to buy a smaller set both metric and standard. No complaints.

I purchased these hex keys because it seems like the generic ones I have now always seem too loose in the fasteners. I watched some videos online to see which brands tested well, and these were just a small step below the top brands at 4X the price. I like the way the holders fold to easily access various sizes, much better than the solid holders that leave me forever folding other keys out of the way to get to the one I need. I also like the way the sets connect to keep everything together. Time will tell if I use the included handle, I tend to use a t-handle set for that, but if these keys fit the fasteners better, I may try it. The finish is really nice on these, and they didn't arive with a greasy coating like some brands I've purchased.

This works well with most keys, from large to very small. If you don't want to buy a complete set of T-handles or hex driver bits or just want something that'll help with your regular key sets, this should serve you well. Of course, the handle is fairly large, so it'll definitely not work in confined spaces where a long driver bit (especially with flex extension) would, but it seems well built and should last a while if not abused.

Bought this to help get good leverage when using L-wrenches. I use them often and sometimes the bolt is a little stuck and you can't quite loosen it without applying some leverage. Despite being mostly plastic, this handle actually does quite a good job. Open the top door, enlarge or decrease the opening with the round end knob, and insert your wrench. Tighten it in place then close the door. easy to do. The largest wrenches I could fit were 10 mm, 3/8 inch, and T45 Torx. The smallest wrenches usable with this handle were 1.5mm, 0.05 inch, and T5. For the smaller wrenches (below about 4mm) you need to turn them 180 degrees and place the wrench head into a narrow slot on the moveable "carriage." Closing the door then keeps the wrench from moving. Overall a nicely designed, versatile, and inexpensive tool that should work well for years.

Habe es vor längerer Zeit mal in einem Amerikanischen Video gesehen, seitdem ich es habe ist es sehr oft in Gebrauch. Man kann alle Arten von sogenannten Inbusschlüsseln dort einspannen und hat damit mehr Kraft und Sicherheit eine Schraube zu lösen. Ich gebe es auf jedenfall nicht mehr her.
