Who knew that this block would take my food to the next level?! I have only used it as a cutting board so far. Love the flavor it adds to food. We have been using pink Himalayan salt for years but this is really lovely. If you are cutting veg, especially tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini this is amazing! We ordered this after realizing that the plastic cutting boards we have been using play a large part in our consuming meat with microplastics. It is easy to clean and makes food taste amazing. Don’t plan on salting anything that you cut on this. The heavy duty durable chrome stand makes it easy to move around an it is so pretty that it stays out on our counter. Only downside is that it doesn’t seem to come any bigger. But I quickly learned to work around that by transferring the cut veg to a bowl to make room for more chopping. Excellent value for the money and would make a great gift for housewarming or newlyweds!!

I was skeptical but chose this salt block against others based off of reviews on the others saying they arrived broken. I am glad I chose this product instead of other ones!!! This one arrived the day before Christmas and was not broken. It looks like a really nice gift. I'd order it again. Nice n thick ya know

I ordered 6 of these and 2 of them have a broken metal part on the stand. We might be able to solder it back. These salt blocks are beautiful and make a nice gift. I pared the boards w seasoning, salt block cook book, and a nice meat knife.

If you have never grilled using a salt block, you are doing yourself a complete injustice! It completely changes the taste of your meat, without a heavy salt flavor. The more you use it, the better the flavor. I would never grill without it.

Cracked the first time we used it. Disintegrated quite a bit when washing it. Not super impressed with how the steak cooked on it, not much flavor passed to steak. Will try to use again with fish but concerned at how much fish may stick to it.
