Great bit of kit. Feels very tough and well built. Used for 3D print finishing but also handy for other jobs including mechanic work on cars. Feels like it will last a lifetime. Adam Savage uses the same one.

I really like the level of precision from this. I do glass lamp working with 104coe glass and have previously used a hothead torch. While this is not as powerful as the hothead, it is much more precise, so I can do better fine detail work with it. It’s self ignition works well and so does the gas flow control. I use it with map pro gas and I find it’s giving me better value on the gas , too, because it burns at a slower rate.

This is a great torch for silversmithing.

Bought this for silver jewellery making because it has a finer flame than the torch I had previously. It’s much better for precision soldering, allowing me to do repairs and attach embellishments etc. without melting surrounding surfaces or seams. The automatic ignition is a helpful bonus and refilling it with gas is straightforward. Can recommend.

Great for getting in to awkward/tight spaces or using upside down to apply heat. Well made and a great addition to the tool kit.

Great purchase. Exactly what I wanted. Easy to use. Love the hot direct flame. Can alter flame speed just by turning the knob. Been using everyday for a week now. Cannot foresee any problems. Makes soldering a joy.

This is a massive upgrade from my small butane torch, my midichlorian count is through the roof when I use it.

While it works well it does not melt silver like we thought it would, does not seem to get hot enough

Love it! I use this for making jewelry, I am using the Map gas. I was using small butane torches. This is so much hotter, quicker and easier to use. I make all my own copper ball tip headpins, some soldering, lots of annealing. The gas holder is great, so nice to have it right on my bench. The torch head is easy to ignite and to adjust the flame. Being able to turn the gas off at the top of the holder gives me peace of mind as well.
