Got the lights out for Christmas and had a dead powersupply to one of my bigger decorations. Checked the specs on the side of the plug and ordered. Working great now.

I had got into the habit of replacing whole sets of lights when the transformers failed but now have confidence that I can restore them quickly and relatively cheaply.

This PSU is 31vDC and a high power rating. By using a SELV splitter, it is feeding many strings of lights whose cumulative power needs are less than this transformers power limit. There are various power rated versions which is why it is essential to check either the PSU you are replacing- stupid small writing usually melded into its housing, or a large sticky label at the connecting end of the light strings. Don’t forget to make sure the connection is the same - some are the round hollow type. It comes with 7 selectable light patterns which thankfully includes static. One final note, make sure you have the necessary space to safely plug the unit in, it’s bigger than a standard plug, so it needs to be accommodated according. Robust manufacturing and great value for money.

Our Christmas tree lights failed in December. After checking the power supply I found that was where the fault was. This replaced the original power supply and they are now working again. Check your voltage and plug fitment.

It does the job.
