I use often
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have this product on subscription. For a quick great soup, I simmer chicken broth and coconut milk with chicken and vegetables. When it's ready to eat, I stir in a spoonful of this mixture, and serve. It's always delicious. If I had to gather all the items in this mix and prepare them, and use them before they go bad, I would really miss this soup.

Not Sealed Beware
Jar arrived with lid off. Product spoiled. Smell really bad in box. I do not know if a refund policy is available. Have not looked for that yet. The paste jar had its own little box so there was really no excuse for the lid/seal to be disturbed and dislodged.

Good option when you need lemongrass
We live in a rural area and do not have easy access to stores that carry lemongrass, so this paste option is an easy and convenient way to incorporate the flavor into your meal items. It lasts a long time in the refrigerator.

Contains lemongrass and also galengal; perfect for southeast asian cuisines
This loose paste contains lemongrass and also galengal, lime, onion, turmeric and jalapeno. (The loose texture is not a problem; it's just not a thick paste.) One tablespoon of this roughly equates to one 4-inch length of lemongrass and is perfect for dishes such as beef rendang that call for both lemongrass and galengal (if, like me, you don't always have them fresh to hand).

Great for amping up a great Thai Green Curry or even Chicken based soups
The product tastes fantastic, and there's no extra junk in it, which is rare these days. MOST importantly, though you cannot return food items, when one of my jars arrived with the top unsealed and some bit of a leak, I contacted the company directly, showed them my photo (*which they didn't even ask for) and they immediately sent out a replacement. Great customer service. Many thanks!

Different smell
I don’t know if they change the formula ingredients to this, but I remember it smelling more lemongrass . This batch i just recently bought smells more fishier than the other times i bought and before it was also more blended of a liquid paste but this batch is more chunk.
