Very good rotisserie chicken
Amazing to make a rotisserie chicken, really easy to keep clean. It's really quick and even when cooking. The different functions on it work very well especially with it doing a lot. It's quite small so be mindful when buying larger chicken for instance, we've found it can do 1.8kg with 2kg being a bit of a stretch, make sure you have a lot of butchers twine. It's made of plastic with a glass window so be mindful if you're having it out all the time, it may not be very durable but we put it away after usage so the lighter weight helps in storing it.

Easy to use, didn't even need the instructions!
I'm loving this oven, its simple to use without all the complicated programming, just set the type of baking you want to do, set the temperature and set the time and you're good to go. It's big enough to do meals for 2-4 people and having trays means I can cook more than one thing at a time, having a glass door and a light means I dont have to keep opening a drawer to find out how my meal is cooking. Meat, roast veg and chips come out best, I'm still using a conventional fan oven for cakes as results in the air fryer are patchy but I'll keep trying until I get it right. The price was acceptable for the size of oven and I think its performance is probably equal or better than some of the more expensive models. It's actually quite light so moving it around on the worktop to clean isn't the problem I feared it might me, and its easier to keep clean than my main oven which needs taking apart to clean thoroughly. Overall I would recommended this product to anyone that is looking for something simple to operate at a budget price.

Good quality
Would buy again. Love the black. Easy to assemble and clean as well. Love its dual purpose. it still has a wide area for larger food. Used for over 6 months and working fine.

Great results despite the manual
Fits perfectly on my counter and makes cooking lots of things much easier. I'm quite fond of fish fillets fromthe freezer for a quick, easy meal. I found that getting the batter crispy was always a pain in the oven. No longer. Perfect every time and in half of the time. The manual is pants and the app's a waste of space. I've had to pick iup air fryer books to clarify the difference between the air frying and bake modes etc as the manual doesn't even mention them never mind explain when to use them. That said it ain't rocket science. It's easier to clean than the oven trays and makes for a much easier life.

Instant Vortex Digital Single Drawer Air Fryer
I was fortunate enough to buy this item when it was on special offer, but it's worth every penny of the current price. So much so that when I spied it on offer again recently, I bought a second for when my current one gives up the ghost. Yes, it's that good! Compared to other air fryers I've tried, the Vortex simply cooks food faster and better. Having used it for over a year now, it's still going strong with no sign of any wear to the non-stick coatings (it has been looked after - no dishwashers, no scourers, soaking rather than scrubbing etc), and the only "wear" is where I dropped the fully loaded drawer on the floor and a small part of the plastic handle broke off. It made a right mess of the floor, but only slight cosmetic damage to the Vortex. Things I like about it - it's pretty simple to use - set the temp on one side and the time on the other. There's presets but I've never touched them. You can throw food in from cold, or follow the instructions and wait for it to heat up at which point it tells you to add food. It also tells you when to turn food over, although if you ignore this it carries on cooking it anyway. Smoke/steam/heat is all well contained. The fryer lives under cupboards and there's only minimal grease on the underside of the cupboards from 12 months of use. While there are bigger air-fryers now, I consider that if you need anything larger than the Vortex, it's probably better to use a good fan oven. This air fryer for me is the perfect size for couples or small families. Highly recommended!

Best air fryer I've had.
Very impressed and happy with this air fryer. It has features you only find on more expensive ones like automatic pre heat before cooking comenses turn food visual and audible warning along with cooking ended and if left it wil remind you with a audible sound. Has a 5.7 liter basket very easy controls to use the dial in the centre changes time and temperature (temp can be set above 200c) also remembers last setting used and is a button which can turn of the display and audible sound if wanted. It does make things like chips and battered items very crispy to. It is energy efficient as I've only had a smart meter for a week and when it first starts up it turns the light on it orange and then back to green for the rest of the time. All this and more for £40.

Best purchases
I had an instant fryer form the US for years. I used it every day, as I do this one I bought in England. It makes excellent potatoes, chips/French Fries, and roast chicken. I probably will not buy an oven/stove/cooker for my new house. I love the Instapot brand. I had their pressure cooker, which I used regularly. Just bought the UK version. These items save energy, cook faster, and way better than an oven ever could. This is slightly different than my US Instant fryer. I've used and seen other fryers, but this makes the best bacon. It's the best fryer on the market in my opinion. I encourage everyone to save money to buy better quality. I've never even heard of anyone who had one that didn't use it every day. It replaced my microwave and oven.

Large basket will also take a pyrex dish or ready meals
This is my first air fryer. My main criterion was that it should be cheaper on electricity. Also it would need to last 5 years in order to pay for itself if I bought a more expensive one. I found this simple to operate and very efficient as well as being good value. There was a nasty smell, which, despite cleaning many times for two weeks, has only just disappeared. Also there was an annoying rattle which was caused by the heating element rubbing on itself when vibrated by the fan. I fixed this by gently bending the element away from itself. It should have been fitted with a 2nd metal bracket to avoid this issue. The big advantage of this fryer is that the 'basket' is big enough to take a full sized ready meal (e.g. roast beef+pots+carrots+peas) so I do not have to use my large oven for those. Also, the tray will take my small Pyrex dishes, so I do not have to get the tray dirty at all when cooking raw food, etc. It is much easier to clean a Pyrex dish than the whole tray/basket and trivet. I can put chicken breasts in a Pyrex dish and add garlic, butter, olive oil, slices of lemon, paprika, cover with foil and cook until my oven probe reads 60 deg C and then remove foil and add freshly microwaved potatoes/chips on top for final 10 mins at 205 deg C to brown. It is about 1/3 cheaper than using my small oven each day so it saves me about £20 a month as I use the oven most days. I wouldn't know if it is better than other air fryers, but I use it every day and it cooks well. Recommended.
