Incredible sound quality and build. I highly recommend these speakers! I am not one to buy speakers without hearing them first. But I knew I wanted rock speakers and could not find any decent ones at local box stores. So I did a lot of research online and read many reviews. I have them set up at ground level around my swimming pool facing the house so they reflect off the back. One is 15ft away and the other about 30ft. They easily fill the space. Everyone that heard them gave unsolicited praise. The 6.5" drivers give very good bass for such compact sealed units. The highs are very crisp, and turning the speakers a bit towards one another creates a nice stereo sweet spot in the middle of the pool. I may actually buy two more for the other end of the yard. These are very efficient speakers so you don't need a ton of power to get good loud sound out of them. And they can go quite loud without bottoming out. I have only had them a month but with a 5 year warranty and based on long term owner reviews I expect them to last a long time.

I almost spent twice as much as these babies on alternative rock speakers, before settling on the OSDs. Then, I wondered if I’d regret not going for the more expensive ones. I figured I had nothing to lose, as I could send them right back if I wasn’t happy with them. Well, I am more than happy. Right out of the box, I was like, wow... really? I’m powering them with a decent, but relatively inexpensive, Sony amplifier and they sound amazing. (I also went for a good quality, thick, 16 gauge speaker cable - good quality cable makes a really big difference). The separation of instruments and the placement of vocals is very appealing. They’re tight across the range, never getting muffled, with a defined bass, crisp highs and an open mid-range. At this price point, I expected the separation to be a little muddy, bass perhaps a little soggy when pushed, and highs a little bright but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. They’re clean and crisp and a pleasure to listen to. I have them at the back of my pool, facing towards the patio. They’re about 30ft apart and the soundstage is nothing short of amazing at this price point. To float on a floatie in the pool with pool-level music is also quite special. I expected them to be made out of some kind of hard plastic material but they’re made from a rubber-like material and appear to be very well constructed. These speakers have exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t be happier. Buy with confidence.

Bought these in 2017 but struggled to get sufficient power from the house to the pool area.They didn't get used for a couple of years because the system was so cumbersome to operate. Recently planned to buy a portable Bluetooth speaker but as a last chance I used my sons old Sony 125 W amp that has been sitting in the garage idle as well. Hooked up my B06+ Bluetooth receiver and used only 20ft leads from the shelf in the garage to the speakers and it sounds really good now. The improvement in the wifi and more power to the speakers makes a world of difference. The system is easy to control off my phone or tablet and sounds great (and loud !). We live on busy street so the traffic noise can be hard the compensate for but setting the speakers beside my garage facing the pool seems to cover everything - highly recommend these. Even after 5 seasons of outdoor use they work flawlessly ( I do take them inside in the winter. 8 inch drivers give a nice fairly natural sound some decent bass and good clarity from the tweeters.
