There’s a huge variety of options when shopping for teleprompters and a huge range of prices. This one is at the cheaper end but I’m here to tell you you need look no further. It’s well made, with high quality glass and great reflection for your phone or iPad. It first securely on a tripod and holds the camera securely. Nothing to fault with it really. It does mean you will nt be able to see your cameras flip up screen if you have one - but that’s true for any teleprompter. Recommend.

Great! Only thing is you have to tighten the aperture at the back of the hood to make sure you do not get a spot of light when you use it without a camera, but that's a tiny thing.

This works a treat but I do think it’s a bit over priced.

Excellent value and quality

I have tried a couple of sub-$200 teleprompters, and like this one by far the best amongst those, as it has the most versatility in the camera mounting system. The long plate (Manfrotto-style I believe) has enough room around it to have another on top; I use an Arca type clamp from Smallrig. This allows me to use an Arca-compatible cage or plate on my camera and slot it directly into the teleprompter with no plate changing. This cannot be done on the Glide Gear TMP 100, which was previously the best teleprompter in this price bracket. The Glide Gear is a wide, flat surface from camera mount to glass, so it's difficult to use any sort of quick release system. If one uses their camera for more than one type of work, this quickly gets frustrating. If you're considering the Parrotcaster or similar types, don't. I strongly advise against teleprompters that mount to the lens directly. You are putting extra strain on the lens mount that it was not designed to handle, especially when putting it on, taking it off, adding weight when you put your phone in, etc. There are many YouTubers that do this, some of them good ones, but the wear can add up over time. Better to spend $100 more on a teleprompter than to spend several times that repairing the lens mount. The only caveat to this positive review is that Elgato released a (more expensive) teleprompter. It's a different product, but one that is very well-suited towards people that primarily record (or stream!) at a computer/studio environment that gets set up and then mostly stays still. The Elgato prompter has a built-in screen and lots of useful software integrations when used with a computer, but it should be noted that it actually must be used with a computer and is not a standalone prompter for use with a phone or tablet. In comparision, this Desview teleprompter is more suited towards people who need a teleprompter to bring to location and quickly build up/tear down. Working videographers will therefore still find this the best bang for their buck.

This is a magnificent product. Such amazing build quality you can feel that you have paid that extra for the premium in quality. If you are someone who needs to carry around your teleprompter to different places you can be rest assured that this sturdy build along with the bag provides you with best transportation options. If you are someone like me who just needs to set it up once then be rest assured that nothing will happen to it for years. Just take care of glass panel. Almost every kind of camera is supported in landscape and portrait mode. Best to utilise it with tablet as the size of the panel is huge. Mobile can also be used in landscape mode. Totally value for money. If you are looking for serious teleprompter you can not go wrong with this one. Amazing mount option too. App is also great and remote is also good. Frankly, I have nothing to complain about. Installation was fairly easy as well. You do not feel afraid while installing your expensive cameras on this mount owing to it's sturdy build. I recommend to buy a sturdy tripod with this too so that your entire setup is safe and secured and you need not worry about it in any way. 5 star for the delivery and packaging as well. Seller is responsive and professional. I will also update this review based on some usage in couple of days if there is any need to change anything from my review.

This teleprompter works like a charm, even outside on sunny days! And you don't even have to buy an app; Desview provides one. Very happy with this purchase.
