So ive tried a few systems including dasaita and all systems would fail on me by the screen blacking out after a few days. Ive had this system in my 2017 trd offroad premium for 3 months now and its amazing. What they dont tell you is with the new system you get a equalizer for the speakers and it makes the speakers sound 10 times better. I highly recommend this system. Only gripe i have is i wish it had more mounting points.

I absolutely love my runner but it was definitely missing something - I bought this head unit and it took almost a month to get it due to the holidays. However, I had it installed about two weeks ago and I love it! Love having apple carplay and all the functions it comes with. YouTube videos load fast, very user friendly.I paid someone to install it and it looked simple enough. The hardest part was taking the interior pieces but once they came off, it took maybe 10 min to connect everything.The look of the new screen is very modern, it’s bigger than the ones that come stock on the newer runners. Overall a great purchase and a nice upgrade!

I watched video installment videos on YouTube and was able to get it done fairly quickly. It was pretty easy and self explanatory when you’re being walked through it during the videos. This item says it “doesn’t fit” for my radio pictured in my review but I assure you it does. The sound quality improved SO MUCH just putting this radio in itself. I didn’t have to program the volume buttons on my wheel to the radio, it did it itself which was nice. Not a hassle at all.

Vendor did not provide installation instructions. I sent email to vendor RTUS-SHOP but they never replied. They only included a one pager on how to connect Carplay and what was included in the box , that is it.

Does not fit 2016 as advertised. Head unit seems cheap and doesn’t seem to have a sizable amp unit to drive factory speakers. My shop recommended something more “robust”…Returning.
