As the title says, i’m really disappointed in these ropes. First of all the handles were quite uncomfortable and due to their size they made skipping quite awkward compared to traditional ropes and the forearm burn took some getting used to. But after owning these for around 3 weeks (using them twice a week for 5 three minute rounds at a time) they have now snapped, making them no more durable than the cheap kind you can buy anywhere. These are almost £40 so you expect far better! Yes, you do get 3 different ropes for your money, but with both the white and blue ropes being too light to whip any speed into and with the uncomfortable handles, these simply weren’t worth it! After reading so many positive reviews and having a look at the company page I really thought these were going to be a quality rope but they’re absolutely rubbish! Don’t waste your time or money! For the record, as previously mentioned, these were used for approximately 15 minutes a day, twice a week for 3 weeks meaning I used these ropes for around 90 minutes total on a padded gym floor and they snapped at the usual suspect - the handle! Gutted!

One thing I have to point out about jump ropes. If a person has a long torso and short legs who do you know where to set the length of the rope. Standard settings has the rope hitting two feet out in front of me. I’m jumping rope to lose weight, or do spins double jumps with a half twos followed by a full gainer. Right now the rope is set at almost two to three inches above my waist line. I’m positive it will take work on my end about hand placement and to dial in the jump rope. I’m 6’2” with a 32” inseam. Hope this helps others with the same issues I have.

I would have given it five stars but the 4mm is a little light for my taste. I've been using Buddy Lee ropes for decades but decided to try these based on their popularity. The 5mm rope I like a lot. I do more of a freestyle type of JR. I highly recommend this rope.

Tried out the rope yesterday. Handles feel nice, they are wrapped in a leather like cloth. Started with the largest rope size, it is smooth and works well for me so far. Adjusting the length of the rope is a snap, and cutting the excess to length is super easy since there is no metal wire. 10 out of 10. Would recommend.

I have the Elite Jumps jump rope with the shorter handles and really liked that these came taped so I gave it a try. The taped handles really do make a big difference especially in more humid climates and those that jump for longer periods of time. I just don't like the longer handles. They seem much heavier and they seem to get in the way. This is just my preference others may like the longer handles. For me though I'm going to use the rope and tape the shorter handles. I won't use the longer handles.
