Q: Where exactly is the dust sensor?? The instructions state in one part that it's in the back, and in another part states it's on the side... Confused??

The air quality sensor is on the side of the unit, covered by a plastic grille.

Q: Can you operate OxyPure Zero on itself without an app?? Do you have to use a phone to operate when you are at home?/

I don't use the wifi when I use my Oxypure, I just touch the front panel buttons, so yes, you can operate it manually or through an app.

Q: We have been using this unit for 18 days. None of the filters has a speck of dust or anything else on them. Shouldn't they?

The nu wave will let you know when its time to clean the filter. the filters pick up everything the eye does not see. Huge diffrence for us. My 3 year old has respetory problems. I am very happy with it.
