Great little Camera to get me back into Photography

When I received my Kodak Pixpro AZ425 digital camera it came in a nice sturdy box that housed not just the camera and strap but a camera bag or case and two batteries so that you could be using one battery while the other was on charge. I'm pleased with size and feel of the camera and look forward to using it for the first time on my upcoming holiday in the Brecon Beacons S E Wales where I hope to be able to take some really nice shots of the surrounding countryside and of the HF County House Hotel that I'll be staying in.

Pictures are not that clear. Wished I’d researched more and bought a camera with wireless capability as when you’re used to being able to upload photos so quickly with a mobile phone, this then feels cumbersome.

I primarily brought this as a "bridge" camera. I am in Nepal and wanted to use it to get poor quality photos of birds at distance to help me identify them later. I couldn't afford the camera I needed for this, but focus poor, using video screen to zoom in (instead of view finder that would cost more) is problematic. But worst of all, the physical zoom gives very poor pictures. Better than my camera phone, but only just. I deeply regret buying it. For the money, using it as a "normal" camera for portraits, scenery it's no better than my camera phone. I wouldn't bother.. Hope this helps others from falling into the same pit..

I purchased this as a go between my heavy old DLSR and my basic compact camera. What a disappointment. It looks nice, is light and easy to handle even for my arthritic hands but it's functions are disappointing. It has a great Zoom facility, macro feature and lots of other great settings but the problem is, it just doesn't focus properly. The vast majority of pictures I took were just out of focus, not sharp and just that bit fuzzy. It didn't matter which setting either. When doing a half press to allow it to focus, all I could hear was the constant grinding, whirring noise of it trying to focus but failing. I'm so disappointed as on the surface, it's exactly what I wanted to be able to continue doing photography but in reality, it is very poor. All fur coat and no knickers! Therefore, I'm returning the camera for a refund. Please think twice about buying this if you want a decent, functioning camera.

Durante muchos años, sólo he tomado fotos con mi smartphone. Un zoom óptico 3x a veces no es suficiente. Si, las fotos normales con mi smartphone son tan buenas como las de esta cámara Kodak. Sin embargo, el zoom es insuperable. Además, los colores son más naturales. El focus automático es fiable y hay muchas opciones de ajuste. El único inconveniente es que el LCD podría ser más brillante a la luz del sol. No obstante, puedo recomendar esta cámara sin reservas porque también es ligera y fácil de usar. Máxima calidad sin tener que cargar dos objetivos.

il n'est pas très compliqué, mais beaucoup de réglages a mémorisé, donc je pense qu'avec le temps je vais faire de magnifiques photos, rapport qualité prix, très bien

Bella bridge ad un ottimo prezzo. Ovviamente è da considerare come macchina fotografica pratica e maneggevole e per un primo approccio alla fotografia.

Ich mach erstmal ein Kurzfazit zur Qualität des Produktes und gehe später darauf ein... ob man das wirklich braucht. (Da ich nicht filme sondern nur fotografiere, bezieht sich auch alles auf fotos. Zum Produkt: Die Verabeitung ist gut, die Bedienung intuitiv. Die Tasche ist ein Muss wenn man länger an der Kamera Spaß haben will und der Zweitakku ist super bei langen Trips wo man viel fotografieren will. Hier gibts fast nichts zu meckern. Einzig die Abdeckkappe vor der Linse löst sich zu einfach, weil die nur draufgeschoben wird und nicht wie bei teureren Modellen einen Haltemechanismus hat. Und das Trageband der Kamera ist bissl billig. Dafür 4 Sterne. Die große Frage ist aber... brauch ich die Kamera? Naja... eigentlich hat die Kamera nur ein echtes (großes) Plus... der Zoom. Im niedrigen Zoom ist mein Handy der Kamera locker überlegen. Ich hab ein Motorola Edge 40 neo was vor 6 monaten knapp das gleiche wie die Kamera kostete. Das hat einen 2-fachen optischen Zoom und einen 8-fachen Digitalen Zoom. Auch wenn ich digitalen Zoom nie benutze, weil es halt schwachsinn ist, ist es für den Vergleich schon wichtig. Ich habe sowohl Handy als auch Kamera auf ein Stativ nebeneinander gepackt und bei gleichen Bedingungen und unterschiedlichen Zoomstufen Vergleichsfotos gemacht (Alles im Automatikmodus) Bei 1-2 fachem Zoom war das Handy der Kamera klar überlegen. Zumindest wenn ich als Laie draufschaue. Selbst bei 3 fachem Zoom (wo das Handy ja schon digital "ranzoomt") war das Handy noch besser. Erst bei 4-fachem Zoom waren die beiden gleich gut und darüber kann das Handy logischerweise nicht mehr mithalten. Ich habe mittlerweile gelernt nicht mehr im Automatikmodus zu fotografieren, sondern meine Einstellungen selbst vorzunehmen... Das geht aber eben auch am Handy. Jetzt sind meine Bilder an der Kamera zwar besser als im Automatikmodus... aber die Handybilder werden so eben auch besser. Von daher lohnt sich die kamera eigentlich nur für Leute, die entweder den gigantischen Zoom wirklich oft nutzen, oder die ein uraltHandy mit richtig grottiger Kamera haben. Ich habe der Kamera 4 Sterne gegeben, weil im Grunde nichts falsches versprochen oder geliefert wird. Aber für mich persönlich ist die Kamera nur 1 Stern wert, weil ich extrem selten so großen Zoom brauche und die Kamera sonst gegen mein Handy abstinkt. Ich hab jetzt nochmal richtig in die Tasche gegriffen und mir eine Sony RX100 Mark VII gekauft. Damit übertrumpfe ich mein Handy um Längen, aber die kostet halt auch 1.100 Scheine. Also immer dran denken, wer nicht zu viel erwartet, wird auch nicht enttäuischt
