Review: A good introduction........ - I bought this book as a gentle intorduction to Welfare and it is quite easy to read and not too laden with jargon. It poses questions and directs the reader to develope his/her own answers and even further questions which is an excellent way to ensure that you are understanding the concepts. Further reading is definitely required but this is a good place to start.

A good introduction........
