Organic Hemp Fleece Blankets (Twin, Emerald Blue)

I do love BAD!Seriously, though. I had a hard time deciding to buy this blanket because of the hefty price. But then I did some research and came to the conclusion that with the type and quality of the material, the size I wanted (king), and the amount of time needed to stitch something like this together, the price was worth it. Plus, their return policy is pretty decent. And from their website, they sound like a caring and honorable small American business.So I bought it annnnnd I love it!Things I love about it:1. It's soft. Like a light fleece feel.2. It doesn't make me wake up in a sweat like my wool comforter or my polyester blanket (I'm a warm sleeper)3. It's warm enough for mild spring & fall nights but cool enough for the colder summer nights. On actual colder nights, I've put my wool comforter on top of this and I'm seriously cozy but not overly warm either. I rarely use a top sheet anymore because none of them feel as soft and comfy as this blanket.4. It's pretty easy to wash and dry, although the first wash created so much lint! They warn of that though, so it wasn't a huge deal.5. There's no weird chemical smell on the blanket and the color is a nice neutral beige that's soothing.6. It doesn't make my skin feel itchy like my polyester blanket did.7. It looks and feels very sturdy. Apparently hemp is a strong material that doesn't degrade easily.8. The owners of the company sent a personalized thank you note in the box and I'm a sucker for personal touches, so I loved that!Some things to note: The King size, which I got, is actually two pieces stitched together but the seam down the middle is very well done and barely visible. The King size is heavier than I expected, but it makes sense because there's a lot of material since it's a 2-ply (double sided) blanket. The colored stitching around the edges isn't too big, so the color of it doesn't really stand out too much.So, obviously I'd recommend this blanket to anyone looking for a soft, lighter blanket made of all natural material and made in the US.

Comfortingly weighted blanket. I feel safe and calm instantly when I crawl under it at night. It's well made and strong, thin yet substantial, keeps me warm but not overly. I'm planning, as suggested by other users, to use this year-round. The price is a bit steep but the product is quality and durable from all accounts. Seller packaged it nicely with evidence of attention and care to preparing the order. Those personal touches made the experience even more enjoyable. If I could afford it, I'd buy another in throw size. Would definitely recommend.

My first Amazon review. The other reviews said how wonderful is this fabric. I wanted Hemp or Hemp & Cotton. And this item and this company returned in the search. I ventured. I now understand why Linus dragged his blanket around with him wherever he ventured. Hard to believe the fabric is more delicious than I expected. But thus is the case. I look forward almost unavoidably compellingly to purchasing a a bed-size blanket in addition to this throw I purchased.

Love the blankets, they’re super soft and keep the kiddos warm at night plus the twin size was so huge we’re able to double over the blanket, now they’re extra toasty! Thanks and sorry feedback would have been sooner but I have a 9 week old, the blankets are for my two older kids. Life is busy with 3! Plus a dog and two cats:)P.S. love the packaging, personalized notes and freebie products, I use the vanilla orange hemp oil spray all the time!

I had heard about BAD blankets years ago. Even with all the great things I heard I balked at the price. I recently decided to splurge for my birthday and I am SO glad I did. The blanket so soft and a great weight. Once I got this on my bed I stopped using a flat sheet so that I could wrap myself up in my cozy blanket instead. I love it so much I am gonna buy two more for my kids!!!!

The price might be scary. But, when you think about it. A quality blanket will last you for several years. This is just that. Quality.

I finally decided to order one of the king sized blankets and hoped that I wouldn't regret spending so much on a blanket, and I'm thrilled to say that it was money well spent! It's super soft and I can't wait to put it on my bed. I had cloth diapered both of my kids so I had an idea of what to expect from a hemp blanket. This blanket is so much softer than my hemp fitted diapers, soakers, and wipes. I forgot just how much lent hemp fabric leaves behind during the first couple of washes but I'm certain it will quit producing lent pretty quickly. My experience with hemp diapers was the same, a ton of lent the first few rounds and then almost nothing once it’s broke in. I couldn't be happier and I hope to buy the throw blanket soon!Update: I just bought the throw blanket and can't wait to get it home and snuggle up while watching the spring storms and use it as a comfy place to sit in the grass while my kids play outside this summer!
