TIMCO Metal Insulation Disc - 35mm - Box of 100 - Galvanised

Very good washer and top quality as you would expect from a reputable brand like Timco. Used this to secure wedi boards and best to steer clear of the cheap nasty oem unbranded ones. As the saying goes, you get what you pay you pay for.

Bought for fitting tile backerboard in kitchen and lounge floors.Work really well and secure the boards down nicely. Very competitive price compared to some hardware shops.Makes a quick job of prepping a floor for tiling. I did use a couple of boxes doing a room but old victorian floorboards wanted a good foundation.would definitely recommend these.

Used when fitting tile backer board to wooden studs. Prevents the backer board from being damaged by the screw heads.

I would advise looking carefully at the hole in the centre, one side is indented to allow the screw head to sit more flush to the surface. They work with Recticel sheet insulation, and that is what I wanted them for. Good value at the price.

I use about 10 boxes of them for fix a celotex insulation below the roof rafters. Them washers are realy strong and hold a insulation well.

What can you say, they are disks to hold insulation in place, they work.

I really like these - do the job a total treat - BUT - I was sold 100 pieces - my bag contained just 84 - that is almost 20% shortfall. I have in fact ordered 2 more bags - I will be checking the contents closely to see if my bag was just a bad batch count - or if there is a systematic failure to deliver the quantity sold..... To be continued....
