I’ve been using these sponges for a few months now and they’ve now become my go-to sponges whenever I need to replenish. The fact that they are the color black makes it easier to keep them appearing clean versus the other ones that you get that are lighter and color and stain with previous paint colors. Plus the color black looks professional for gigs. I like the combination of the teardrop shapes and the half moon shapes because it allows you to deposit color in different areas of the face more easily depending on how you’re trying to use them. Lastly (and most importantly) the sponges are likely to arrive looking squished. DON’T let this fool you into thinking that they are defective!! This is normal if you’re transporting them via mail. All you need to do is run them under the sink and squeeze the sponges a few times and let them dry. They will come back to their full shape right afterwards. 😉

I use these for creating even all over color in face painting. They work really well and absorb color and water well for mixing. They are a great value for the price and quality, though there were some uneven cut shapes. No biggie for what we used them for though! They also wash up really well and are reusable!

I really like these! Just cutting open the package and letting the air hit them, restored them. They have the perfect “squishability” for facepainting. Would definitely recommend and purchase again!

These sponges are also good to manipulate. Paint goes on good you can use wet or dry.

The product is good, it's totally fine. Good price for the amount of Sponges, and I like that there are different shapes in the package. However, I don't like how these were shipped. The sponges were just thrown in the same box they were shipped in. No liner or bags or a box inside a box. I'm all about using less shipping materials, but since these are going to be on my face, I don't love that they are just thrown into a box. Not only that, but when opening it, the sponges popped out and went everywhere. So, be careful when opening!
