What materials is this oto scoop made of (a hard plastic, silicone, etc)? How flexible is the loop end (worried it won't grab much if it's too bendy).

It is just made out of a hard plastic, and the tip will bend from side to side, but not very much at all forward to back, if you are using it in the direction it is supposed to be used.
