If you just need to pinch some hoses occasionally, these work fine. My vehicle is older so the hoses are a little more stiff than newer cars. When I pinched off a hose, the flexed a bit, so it took more force to get them to fully pinch off. They work and I dont feel like they will break, but for the price they are fine.

I bought these to help me with changing a high pressure power steering line, only to find out that these are not designed for using on high pressure lines. The set seems sturdy and well made and will certainly work well on other fluid lines but don't expect to use them on brake lines or power steering lines. A good product at a good price
