Great IEM for the proce
I was very skeptical, as I've been using floor monitors for years. After talking to a few fellow musicians, I decided to try, as they were using the same IEM from Shure. I did my due diligence and searched for other parts needed to do IEM's. Ordered, received, in a timely manner, then the day of reckoning. I was ready to try IEM for the 1st time. I play acoustic guitar and sing, with backing tracks and use a full mix in my monitor. The first thing i noticed is the clarity with these 215's. It changes the way you sing, using clearer annunciation, verbiage, and just clearing up all the "muddy" words while singing. Made a big difference and took me a while to get used to that feeling and hearing my voice so clearly. After an hour or so, I was hooked.Downside, you loose conversation w stage members and crowd input while playing. I am a one man band and don't have the stage issue, and I will place another mic by my stand and hear crowd noise...Very good product and for the price, makes it a great product...

For the first time I’ve wanted to get a dac
These are great, better in terms of sound clarity than my $300 over-ear senheiser headset. Without a proper dac you’ll hear audio interference from your pc or other electronics though, if you’re using these that way

The Best Monitor Headphones I’ve Used
The Shure se215s are an EXCELLENT option for any serious studio or stage monitoring work. I first used them nearly 15 years ago in a live setting with Shure’s wireless in-ear system. I never really thought much of them except that they sounded pretty good and would mostly stay in with my thrashing around the stage. Recently I was looking for a pair of wired earbuds for monitoring while traveling and I was pretty sure a mixer/producer friend was using these. We spoke about them and he told me he starts all his serious mixing tasks on these. I trust his ears and how right was he about these. These are the most accurate monitoring devices I’ve ever used. The have detailed flat bass response with crystal clear frequency response throughout and they are very comfortable. I haven’t had ear fatigue or discomfort from these yet. I’ve completely stopped using my Audio Technica ATH-M50s because these sound so much better. I’m able to hear into the mix more in my own work and also just listening to a streaming service as well. These earbuds make listening to music fun. More fun than it used to be and I nearly always have music playing at home so I’m quite a music fanatic. The value on these earbuds is impeccable. Really they don’t have any business being as good as they are and, as an added bonus for travel, they come with a carrying case pounce that also has a clip so I can clip it on my belt loop and not lose them. I recently thought the left driver stopped working. It turns out these can retain a bit of ear wax which drastically reduces the volume. This must be removed but after that are back to wonderful. I hope to always have a pair of se215s. I’m a true believer.

Bang for my buck
I personally enjoy listening to music and these headphones boost my experience! My only complaint is that it can be staticky at times and it irritates my hearing so I place the bud close to my ear but not fully inserted. Has anyone else ever experienced this with the SE-215? I would like to try other headphones and compare
