This stuff is so good! The flakes are large enough that you can see the quality and freshness. Love buying this in bulk so that I can add to my smoothies and so easy to use. In my opinion, the best tasting out there, and I've tried a bunch.

I've been hearing about dulse as a bacon-like seaweed for a while and decided to try this package. I pan fried it with some oil over medium heat and it comes out paper thin, crispy with some smoky flavor and lots of umami. I can see how some people compare it with bacon, but it's not exactly the same. It's missing that meaty note, but I still love the taste. My only concern with this packaging is there are other things in it, like sea moss dried to the dulse leaves. It feels like they just grab whatever from the ocean, then dry and package it. I'm not sure if this is safe to eat, so I've been picking them out before cooking them. It's also a little soft and tender and not completely dry in the package, I'm not sure if that's good or bad. This is the first time I tried dulse and not sure if these are real concerns. I'm getting another order because I was impressed with this and going to use it as a healthier substitute for bacon. Maybe I'll try another brand and see if they also have the green bits in them.

Great product for cooking ANY BEANS! The nutritional value enhances the nutritional absorption of food eaten! This is not tasted in soups! It has a pleasant flavor & great for grinding up as a salt replacement too!!

This dulse tastes great to me (fresh and not too fishy). I like that this dulse is sourced from more pristine, safer waters. At least one reviewer stated that the product is dry. When I've purchased the product from our local grocery store, I noticed the dryness as well. The last four bags I purchased, however---all from Amazon (and fulfilled by Ocean's Balance)---were soft, chewy, and tastier than what I purchased at the store in the past. To keep the product fresh, I store it in airtight glass jars after purchase. I'll definitely be buying this product (directly from Ocean's Balance via Amazon) in the future. I eat dulse for the high mineral content and because seaweed is said to purge toxins from the body.
