I needed a a ladder to clean the guttering of my two story house I only needed the two sections of the ladder to do it but with the third section could go higher if I wished. No good buying a ladder if when you want it it is not long enough. It is not too long closed and it fits in my shed. In use it is sturdy and feels safe and seems to be well made and worth every penny of the money paid. 10ft is I think the perfect size, it is not too long to fit on the roof of a car, as most cars to day are longer than 10ft, so it s very handy and portable. three ladders in one, a single ladder, a double ladder and a triple ladder plus you have three separate sections for 3 people to use at the same time. Obviously handling ladders is a knack and this ladder fully extended takes some handling, but that is the same with all long ladders.

Outstanding ladder I'm a big fat lump and felt secure while sorting out house guttering. Supper light Easy to set up the bottom foot.

Very impressed by this ladder. It is well designed, well made and well packaged. The wide base makes it very stable and safe. The only thing is it's a bit heavy and unwieldy when fully extended.

I needed to sort out some gutter problems. I had a 4 piece folding ladder which was nothing but pain every since I got it, as it was just too tall, and even with one of the parts folded, the ladder stay couldn't get it clear of the gutters, so to get the top under the gutters I had to pull it out too far at the bottom, resulting in the ladder being at the wrong angle. Used it a couple of times, had to move it in 2 people, folding/unfolding was super difficult and took ages, and overall I never felt safe on it. Finally decided to get that gutter issue sorted, and decided I needed a new ladder. So I opted for this one, and I'm pleased to say, it's perfect. Yes it can't get clear of the gutter (not the ladder's fault of course) but I can extend right to the gutter - no more no less, unlike the folding one which would only extend in multiples of 1.7 metres. When I want to move it to another wall, I just bring it back down, move, and extend it again - can do it all myself, and easily enough. Then the safety aspect. I felt perfectly safe the entire time I was on this ladder. I don't know why I didn't on the other ladder, maybe it felt more slippery, maybe the angle, I don't know, but on this one I immediately noticed I wasn't feeling fearful of being up high, and felt sufficiently stable that I could focus on my work.

I had to clear my gutters. I tried to do it using the ladder's A shape function so it wouldn't be resting on the gutter, but it isn't suitable to go that high in that position safely according to its instructions. So I used all three pieces of the ladder and rested it against the gutter, as per the photo. I did it, it was OK and the stabiliser is good. However it was awkward to get it into position and get it down. I needed to be taller and stronger really. It's heavy too. If you're over 6 ft with long arms and strong, it will probably be ok for you. It's a good ladder when you don't have to go very high, but then you should just buy a cheaper, shorter ladder for those lower heights. For gutters I found it difficult and would also stick to a lighter 2 piece rather than 3 piece ladder in future. Storing it is awkward unless you remove the stabiliser.

This ladder is 'huge', solid construction superb reach to extension roof of my house, sturdy and safe to use, love the way it come with a really wine stabiliser bar for the bottom. Downside (possibly) it's not that 'light weight' which seems a bit unfair to say when it's song a long reach ladder, I (I don't know how you could make it lighter!) I only mention it in case you see it in the description and that's all you focus on. I have used this on my own and .walked' it into position and upright from starting of flat, not for the feint hearted, more comfortable as a two person operation, which to be fair, should always happen when working on ladders or at heights anyway. Great purchase, excellent price and swift delivery, if you need a mega reach, buy this, as an aside, I would even go as far to recommend this company (no affiliation)
