WMF200: Magnetic Shielding Film for LF and HF Radiation (Width 4", Length 24")

I had some audio feedback from my home theater center speaker due to a tone control unit I have placed on top of it. I cut the magnetic shield to size and placed it between the two components and voila, feedback gone. It’s pricey for such a small piece of paper but it solved my problem and I’m satisfied with the results.

My IPhone’s internal magnet , which center’s it w/Apple’s surface charging system, ALSO STOPS MY BATTERY POWERED WRISTWATCHES. I tried to shield th iPhone , if I pick up my iPhone, it’s magnet i s then close enough to disrupt the watch’s operation. I spoke to Tag Heur’s customer support but they had no solution , other than Apple providing a magnet shield for when the way is NOT BEING CHARGED, and being used as it is normally !

Bought this shielding film to cover a breaker box in my living room. Managed to reduce the field from 200mG to 40mG with just one layer. Works best if you have a small area to cover, otherwise request for a larger sheet when ordering to cover a larger source.

I had some 60hz noise in my stereo introduced by my VPI ADS through an Icon Audio Step Up Transformer. I wrapped my SUT in the shield and all the interference is gone.

I had a small hum affecting my headphone amp and this shielded the power toroidal from the other transformers reducing the hum to acceptable levels.

First, I thought this was tape with adhesive. It is not. There is no adhesive so it does not stick to anything. Second, after I sprayed this plastic film with 3M 77 contact adhesive and carefully wrapped my JL Audio speaker magnets with 2 layers, they still caused my Ritchie compass to move when placed 18 inches away. If it was blocking magnetic fields, the compass should not move. Expensive and doesn't work well.
