A large assortment with every size you could need for most automotive/equipment uses. Quality is fine so far. My only complaint is that the box is flimsy and over-filled. I hate to complain that a product gives me too much of what I want, but with the box being just large enough to hold all the cotter-pins, any amount of shifting means the box lid will not shut. Further, the box lid is not strong enough to prevent the pins from mixing if held in any position other than flat. I didn't take away any stars for this because I was shopping for the pins, not the box; but, the purchaser should be aware.Update (11/24/2013):I had a chance to look at two of these pins I installed not too long ago and they still look the same as when I put them in. No rust or discoloration. It hasn't been very long, but seeing as these are right behind my tires, they have seen a fair amount of water and road grime. Will update again during or after the winter/road salt season.

As a rule, you always use a new cotter pin. Why not buy 1000 of them cheap. It could save your life. The box is a piece of crap but who cares. A good cotter pin just has to be there when you need it. Some idiot in the questions said these are stainless. I assure you that they are not stainless or else they would have been advertised as such and sell at a higher price.

I agree with the other review... there are enough cotter pins here for 2 or 3 generations! Selection is great and pins are of good quality. It would have been 5 stars but the case is really, really flimsy...

I know you will never use these up but your kids can sell whats left at the estate sale ..but hey you will never have to run to the store again to get one .. I figure with the cost of gas I can use about 6 of these and throw the rest away and be ahead but I of course will not they are great to have around

They seem like good quality so far. Case is cheap, it was honestly overfilled and this caused them to mix together, a smaller amount would have been better or a bigger case.

Nice assortment of cotter pins. The price was good. It will save trips to the hardware store.
