grease fire be gone!
Oh man, this came through just when I needed it. I originally wanted to try this out on a fire I was planning to set up on the fire pit in the backyard but as I was heating up some pork belly on the o'l toaster oven, I must have set that thing to max or something and before I knew it, my oven was engulfed in greasy flames! Good thing I left this on top of the fridge just for these type of emergencies.Yanked the tab, shook three times and blasted my toaster from 6 feet away- it didn't work lol. Unfortunately it sprayed like a mist of foam all over the kitchen instead, but once I fired it away at 3 feet, it took less than 2 seconds to take the fire out - thank you fire dog!The clean up wasn't too bad, the foam came off easily with water and a rag.The can was still pretty full at that point so I tested it on some dried grass fires and burning paper a couple of days later and it took it out without any problems as well.I left one of these cans in my car wrapped in microfiber towels and enclosed in a ziploc bag as it has been very hot here lately and I have heard stories of these type of fire suppressants blowing up inside vehicles, creating a foamy mess. It has been in the 90's here the past few days and with the car parked outside and I wasn't taking any chances. Also, the instructions states to store this somewhere less than 120 degrees Fahrenheit. So if you live in a place with very hot climate, definitely do not leave this in the car. This is not going to replace the good old fire extinguisher, but it is definitely better to have this than having none. The small size is an advantage for places with limited storage. I even thought of using them at the same time like John wick, but thankfully, one can did the job5/5

Very Nice to Have on Hand
Fire extinguishers are a necessity; however, if you have just one or rely solely on this product, you may find yourself getting burned. This product for me is supplemental. I have dedicated fire extinguishers for kitchen, garage, and vehicles. These fire extinguishers, offer the ability to easily place in other areas, rooms, or compartments of vehicles away from your main fire suppression tools. So, I will be able to place others around the house in rooms (bedrooms) where there are no large fire extinguishers. These would be also great for a "just in case bag" for your vehicle, in the event you do not wish to carry a more traditional style of extinguisher. Should you be involved in a collision or somehow trapped due to a fire, this may be enough to suppress the fire long enough for escape.Pair these with larger fire extinguishers, fire blankets, smoke alarms, and you and yours will have tools to increase your chances of preventing a fire from becoming catastrophic or deadly. Depending on the fuel source, fires will spread quickly, and can overwhelm and or overtake a person and their escape routes very quickly...these are small canisters and will run out of foam quickly. So please just remember the limitations of these small canisters if that is all you rely on in the event you are unable to contain the small fire from increasing in intensity and size.I rate these as 5 stars for their easy operation for almost any age, portability, and wide range of combustible materials that this foam suppresses. These are also a great size to teach younger children about fire safety.

Small enough to put next to an appliance
I ordered these from a new apartment so I can be for more proactive in case something happens. With fire, every second counts, literally. These cans are the perfect size that can be put next to or on a shelf around an appliance or pretty much anywhere where it'll fit, so in case you need it, you have it. He's a very easy to use, however, I'm surprised the there is an extra step of pulling off the plastic tab at the top of the can, prior to use. I suppose there's nothing wrong with this in some ways, but if you're not aware of this plastic tap exists, and the unfortunate event that you do have to use this can to put out a fire, the less thinking, the better. When you point and use your finger on the trigger to spray and nothing comes out, that'll confuse you and make you panic because you weren't aware that there's a plastic tab on the top. The reason for the plastic tab is obvious, to ensure this doesn't get excellent used. Be sure to familiarize yourself with this plastic tab and the short instructions on the back of a can. Read it once twice or however many times you think you should in order to familiarize yourself with these so If you do have to use this can you won't have to scramble and panic, you'll be able to simply just use the product without hesitation or thought. The size of the cans are perfect to be able to put in pretty much any space that's accessible.
