Absolutely brilliant
Light weight, lovely blade. Makes a short job of small trees. Cuts well and clean. It's sturdy and comfortable to use.

Excellent saw
So I bought this and I also bought an Irwin saw very similar. This saw was far superior, I was working on decking and it started sharper for far longer. I have trusted Irwin for a long time and been happy in the past however it would buy Bahco from now on. And the cherry on the top is the snap on snap off blade guard.

Sturdy saw for rough outdoor work
It's a good and sturdy 7TPI rough saw for outdoor wood and lopping. It's not a fine-cut saw as others have pointed out, but it isn't meant to be. The handle is comfy. The only negative is that I could have done without packaging which, while sturdy and effective, left sticky-tape residue all up the blade which has been impossible to get off. I expect it will disappear naturally after a couple of weeks' sawing work.
