works exactly as described, would buy again and recommend. I've been an eco-drive watch user since 2000, and while I'm outdoors a lot, the watches tends to get low charge in the winter in the NE, due to lower sunshine times. it would charge fine with fluorescent and incandescent bulbs, but today they are all gone from my home. I use my own DIY charger box, using a swan neck lamp with a bright white 5000K Daylight White 1500 lumen standard bulb that eats 13W that I just put the watch under, with some distance as it does get warm to hot as you get close. the setup works but its clunky. new eco-drive watches will use up a full charge in 6 mo, but drops as it gets old. also depth meter watches will eat the batteries faster when used in diving, as the meter uses a lot of power. Pros far more ergonomic than my DIY setup and works does not get hot but warm. with the setup provided, the watch will < 95F with 72F ambient, and stainless steel watch cases will radiate this heat away too, so you feel and measure it with a IR thermometer the charger is made of metal, not plastic, so it heat sinks out the heat on its own very simple setup and all provided accessories but no USB power source, you need to use your own only one power setting, 9 hours charged timer, confirmed appears well made and durable but only time will tell as usually power LED tend to die off faster with use excellent simple design watch charges to full, I have one ecodrive that has a power meter and confirms this Cons no organizer case

This is well-made, hooks up and powered by USB-C via USB-A cable. It is amazing how after 9 hours, it shuts off, as advertised. It is blindingly bright, but for how bright it is, it emits very little heat, and the watch stays cooler than if it was on your wrist. I measured the temperature of the back of my watch, and it is 84.7 degrees F, and the charging unit itself is 86.2 degrees F while powered on and charging a watch. I think this charger is close to perfect. The only improvement I could suggest would be a two-watch charger.

Works great, at where I currently live I barely get any direct sunlight on my window, too many trees. My solar watches take up to 2 weeks to get to a full charge. This charger fully charge a watch in just a few hours. I can charge all my solar watches one by one and still be well ahead of the 2 weeks it need to fully charge them from the windowsill.

This little gadget works great for charging eco drive watches. The lightstays on for as long as you want, it's super bright for fast charging, and the watch doesn't get too warm. The only downside was that it won't turn on if you use a fast charging phone plug. It works great with a computer USB port or with an older slow charging phone plug.

works good so far ( 2 weeks ), light will blind you so caution is needed, good value, no worries on heating, timer works correctly, length of USB cable is good too.

Works as advertised, used it to charge up a new solar watch over about 12 hours straight and wasn't too hot and it continues to work.

Build quality is excellent, really impressed. The gadget is simple but very effective. It charges my Casio watches very effectively with virtually no light bleeding out from the sides. It is very small but has a nice weight to it because of the solid metal construction. Would highly recommend if you have any solar watches. Delivery to UK from Amazon US was really impressive. Arrived within a week.

Very bright place your watch on top of it and forget about it for a few hours. Charged very fast. Its tiny so slides into side drawer taking up no space at all. Comes with two rubber toppers for different size watches. Worth the cash on dreary days with no sun. Does not get hit at all just very very bright until watch covers it up.

Works as advertised. While mostly cool, the watch does warm up from the trapped heat between the watch and the light. Older watches or those with smaller solar panels may take longer to fully charge up.
