I didn’t read the description very well. I thought it was just a travel size of the game, which we have and have played. This actually asks questions about your family.

We play games a lot in our family, probably have more games than average. So, our expectations are high when trying out a new one. The 5 second rule game did not disappoint! Everyone loved answering the questions, and it was just as easy for the kids (aged 11 and 14) to play as the parents/grandparents. The mini tube size means that it is easy to take on a picnic or toss in the camper for rainy day activities. The age suggestion is mainly for the pressure of being timed, in my opinion. There were times in the game that different members of our family would get discourages or even mad when the others would get excited about the time being up. After a while we did extend the time a little, especially for grandpa. If playing with younger players I would encourage a different timer (as they probably won't notice anyway) to keep the fun going. Once you have played the game in its entirety, and you have seen/heard all of the questions, the game isn't quite as funny, but still able to be played. The second time around we had more conversations and stories were told, the game play was a bit slower but we enjoyed it just the same.

My in laws were coming to visit and they love playing games with our 8 year old daughter so I ordered this game for game night. It did not disappoint. It's easy to understand and set up. There are double sided cards with questions to ask and the person has 5 seconds to answer before it moves on to the next person. The questions are a little silly and repetitive but some are hilarious and made for some interesting answers within the family ...for example "which 3 family members love to gossip". You can also argue the answers if you don't agree which was fun too. My daughter loved this game to be able to shout answers and use the timer but she also said it stressed her out in a fun way. Don't have high expectations and you won't be disappointed. Fun short game at this price point
