I love the size of this bottle, not too large nor too small. Holds just enough for my outings without feeling too heavy in my bag. It's leak proof, durable and the material does not attract unpleasant odour like some poor quality bottles do.

Does exactly as described. Practical, light and easy to clean. Good width for sliding into side pouches on backpacks and car cup holders.

Perfect item good sturdy bottle

A great compact bottle from Nalgene. I prefer these to the bigger sizes as they are so versatile - I can 'dose' one bottle with electrolytes whilst keep the other bottle as plain water; for rehydrating food or for the dog. As usual with Nalgene you can put just off the boil water into these for using as a hot water bottle whilst winter camping. I use one for my feet and one between my thighs, both inside a sock to prevent burns and they work a treat. I just wish they were not so expensive and hence the loss of one star.

I have used & research many water bottles and IMO, this is a best design for an everyday out-n-about use.My requirements are: 1. Ease of use; 2. Ease of cleaning; 3. Leakproof; 4. Quality/durability.1. Yes. The simple twist cap design just like most disposable bottles but the wide-mouth design is fantastic for refilling even at the most awkward shaped filling stations. The plastic looptop keeps the cap attached to the bottle so you’re not going misplace it. The 400ml/16oz size is mobile enough to carry even in a smallish cross-body bag & and it is my favourite bottle to take onto long-haul flights where the steward/ess are happy to refill it.2. Yes. The wide-mouth design is also makes it easy to clean without having to manoeuvre the bottle brush to reach awkward corners. There isn’t any small parts or silicone seal in this bottle — cleaning takes seconds to complete.3. Yes. I have never experienced ANY leakage in 10 years of using Nalgene bottle.4. Yes. This purchase is a replacement for the 10 year old bottle that I own. The old bottle is still very good shape even after years of usage (and the occasional drop). However, the plastic looptop has finally cracked and unfortunately it is not easily or cheaply replaced in the UK (it’s only under US$5), but considering I’m only replacing this after 10 years of use — it’s pretty good going 👍🏼Other bonus: it’s BPA free.
