Game-Changer for Home Studios and Movie Nights!
I've been making YouTube videos and recording music in my room for a while now, and one thing that always bugged me was the reverb and extra noise in my recordings. After some searching, I decided to invest in these sound panels, and I'm so glad I did! At first, I was a bit skeptical—6 large panels for $126.99? Kind of expensive for me but I needed something quality so I bought them anyway. When they arrived, they seemed a little thin, but I reserved judgment until I set them up. They're a bit heavy, so I didn't trust the 3M tape to hold them over time, especially since the material is kind of fuzzy. Instead, I used a picture hanging kit, and it worked like a charm. Now, they hang flush against the wall, no problem. The difference in audio quality was noticeable immediately. The reverb was gone, and the sound in my videos is now much cleaner. These panels also made my room look cooler, filling up some empty wall space with a modern touch. Plus, I use a projector for movies, and the panels made my speakers sound much fuller and clearer, especially the bass. Overall, the size and quantity of these panels make them a great deal, though I wish they offered bundle deals for larger purchases. I'm already thinking of getting more, maybe mixing in some of their fiberglass and wood panels to finish up my room. If you're looking to upgrade your home studio or just improve your room's acoustics, these are definitely worth it! P.S. I’ll be making a review video on these soon, so stay tuned!

Nice quality panels
Bought these to help drown out the neighbors who live in the apartment next door. I was surprised to find these so aesthetically pleasing and easy to mount. They’re very light weight and you only need command strips to mount to sheetrock (you’ll need gorilla glue for extra adhesion to panel). Function wise, they do muffle the noise to a tolerable level but aren’t going to soundproof if that is what you’re looking for. Highly recommend.

Looks great, easy to work with, but falls short on NRC claims
Firstly, these look great. They look the best if you use them for an entire wall imho rather than simply sticking them in random places on a wall or ceiling. With a sharp razor blade they are also very easy to cut so that you can trim them around edges of trim/lighting/outlets/switches/etc. They are more rigid than I imagined they would be, but that is a good thing imo in helping them to be hung. I did not try and hang these to the wall with double-sided tape; I used drywall screws to hang them (directly drilled into drywall - not utilizing studs) and they hang perfectly. Not only do they look super-chic, they do reduce echo flutter/reverb decay time within a room. I used these on the backwall of my mixing and mastering room as an accent wall that does provide some absorption properties. -HOWEVER- I do not fully believe the test report that UMIACOUSTICS provided me concerning NRC when I emailed them directly. I feel that I am quite proficient in understanding these reports as I've been working with studio acoustics for nearly 20 years (as a non-professional Acoustician; but someone who knows their fair share). UMIACOUSTICS provided a report that claims .80 NRC across the frequency range (100hz - 5000hz). It was easy for me to see that this report was tainted as it claimed that these 1/2 inch panels would absorb 40% of 200hz; something that even thicker insulation (such as 3 inch) struggles to do well. The test report also claims nearly 100% absorption from 630hz to 1250hz; also not true in real-world performance. A quick placing of a single panel directly against a single speaker with no air gap playing these specific test tones did not lead to anywhere near full absorption at the stated frequencies. I didn't conduct a test to measure how much a single panel reduced the test tone in dB; however, it was not nearly the amount claimed by UMIACOUSTICS (I would say, perhaps, within the 600-3000hz range that there was a 25-30% reduction, 500hz to 200hz perhaps 10% reduction, and below 200 absolutely zero reduction by my listening experience). I would say the actual NRC rating would honestly fall somewhere into the .20-.30 rating, with the higher frequencies perhaps being absorbed at .40 NRC at most). So, should you buy these? Definitely not if you are thinking that these 1/2 panels will meet the performance that UMIACOUSTICS is claiming and that is your only concern. But definitely buy them if you are looking for something that will reduce echo flutter and reverb times in your room that is easy to work with and honestly, looks great. For the price, they could get expensive to cover a whole wall, but, better materials and thicker full-range absorption panels with higher NRC also cost a lot more than these. These are fairly affordable imho, and, while not meeting the performance they claim (by at least half the amount imo), they do still provide benefits for mid and high frequency absorption. In my specific case, these worked well as I already have a very well-treated studio space with plenty of 3' and 6' absorption panels in the critical locations; and using the UMIACOUSTIC panels in non-critical locations where I had bare-walls worked quite well.

Worked well, great customer service
These did what they were supposed to do, cut down on sound reflections in a box-like room. Some were delivered with corner damage and the seller sent replacements with no fuss. To get more from these panels, I mounted them on spacers about 1.2 inches from walls and ceilings and left space between them so sound could also bounce behind them to be absorbed and diffused.

Glue free stick free panels, need own double side tape messy on putting together
Took 3 hrs to fit in the space in photo and needed 6 panels and small portion is left out and exhausted to keep cutting tape. The noise dampening might be very negligible and can definable say its not acoustic panels or foams to help reduce any noise still my living room keeps echoing and its not that big room and would have helped a bit unfortunately did used the pakage and now getting another pyramid type 1 inch foams for another brand to try on top of it as do not have strength to get these back down. Its just good looking so three stars else no stars needed for it

Wall panels
I installed them and they work as they should for thinner walls you might need 2 tho.

Excellent
Excellent. They work exactly as the description states, are very light and look great. I hung them with a pin nailer, and you should too. Don't rely on messy adhesives and dubious tapes. Just nail them to the wall with small nails and be done with it.

Expensive but good.
Use for deadening our air conditioner closet. It doesn’t come with adhesive backing, so you’ll need to get some double sided tape or adhesive. Expensive for sure, but looks good and works pretty well,

Really good quality and look great on my wall. I was sound proofing my upholstery studio and used these in combination with other measures and worked great

Two problems. First - problems to attach. Even professional grade double-sided tape sticks very poorly to the back surface of the panel, because of the "wooly" panel material. Panels fall off the wall after some time. Second - can not be mounted flush to each other. These panels are NOT designed to be mounted flush to each other, as, for example, if You want to cover an entire wall. Gaps will show and the panels will be a nightmare to align, because they are large and are not cut super-precisely. These panels are only ok if You intend to mount them separately from each other, as in some of their marketing pictures - i.e. as decorative elements with large gaps between them.

Product is very well made and easy to cut and install. Once in place it looks great on the wall. I purchased the product to cover the walls around my washer and dryer to mute the sound. The washer and dryer are not yet in place so I can't comment on the sound muting.

Not sure they work. Look okay though on the wall.s.

An den Bilder kann man sehen das die Ecken beschädigt sind. Dachte das es beim montieren die Ecke sich von alleine repariert. Leider hat das nicht geplappt.
