This is a beautiful piece both lit and unlit. No assembly required. It does come with a bulb, and a functional dimmer switch. I might swap out the bulb for a brighter E12 bulb to see if that makes it glow bright enough to use as a lamp, however, it still produces a subtle glow that is warm and soothing. When lit, it glows with amber light, and dark brown/black streaks. When unlit, it has a subtle green, orange, brown, and warm neutrals. It’s crafted well, sturdy and heavy. The cylinder is smooth and a great height for a statement piece. It’s cool to the touch, an indicator that it is made of real stone. I had this in my cart for a long time and was pleased to see it was on sale for almost half off. I would buy this again for a gift, or even to use as a matching set for a bedroom or next to my other crystals. Would absolutely recommend this product. This is a stunning lamp. I love that it has a dimmer and is in a modern shape. It is heavy and substantial. Gives a beautiful glow, not unlike the Himalayan salt lamps. I chose this lamp over a salt lamp for two reasons: (1) the black “veins” in the rock add a gorgeous dimension to the lamp and (2) it won’t ever absorb and then release water (had two salt lamps that absorbed humidity from the air and then leaked it on my furniture). Never again. I had an issue with the bulb not working properly (had a flicker when at the highest setting), and so I emailed the vendor. The next day, I had a replacement bulb in my mailbox, shipped directly from them. Outstanding customer service. Highly recommend this lamp and this vendor!

I just bought and received this round Onyx table light and had to review it. This light is beautiful and replaced a very small table lamp that sat on a small entry table. We saw Onyx lights in Jackson Wyoming that we thought looked great, but they were of course larger, and in the thousands of dollars, so My wife suggested this small Onyx light and it is beautiful. I did put in a different bulb that the small incandescent light they send with it but their light would work as well, I just like LED warm white lights and it worked beautifully. I used a 3 watt warm white Feit candelabra bulb. Love the light. Put some felt on the bottom because the stone will scratch your table if moved . It has a dimmer also, and is a great value for a real stone light. These photos are different angles of the same light. Update 10/27, I bought another one of the same light and received it. It is beautiful but it is way lighter than the first one I ordered, so just be prepared for a light color or a dark colored light. I prefer the darker one but they are both super nice lights and are cut from real stone. See last photo , which is my newly received light.

The lamps featured on Amazon are probably some of the most beautiful, colorful examples of this product. What we received was good looking, but not even close to the images. Ours came supplied with a LED and an inline dimmer. The LED flickered constantly. I purchased a different dimmable LED bulb which works better and doesn’t flicker.

Heavy and sturdy. Easy to assemble. Definitely a good value. Functional. Good color. Looks expensive. Get it.

Very beautiful and hefty, but wiring quit working after 2 weeks. Tried replacing the bulb but it still didn't work.

We wanted a table lamp to go between two chairs in our living room. We already had a lamp, but due to the height of our old lamp and the position of its lampshade, the light bulbs were a bit exposed, creating a lot of glare. So I started looking for a lamp that completely enclose its bulbs to create a warm, glowing light. I also wanted something dimmable, so we could adjust the level of light. The style of our furniture is mid-century modern, and this light seemed to go well with the style. When we got the lamp, everything about it met our requirements, but the incandescent bulb it came with was not really bright enough, even at the highest level of brightness. The lamp came with a 15 watt bulb, which did generate a significant amount of heat, so I didn't want to use a replacement bulb that would draw more than 15 watts. And I knew that LED bulbs can produce more light than incandescents while drawing less power, so I figured that an LED bulb would be a good option. But I also knew that some LED bulbs don't work with dimmable lamps, so it was important to find a dimmable bulb. On Amazon, I found a dimmable 15 watt LED bulb with an E12 screw-in base that fit the bill (15W E12 LED Corn Bulb Dimmable Warm White 3000K E12 Base). So I ordered that bulb, and replaced the incandesent bulb. The base of the lamp is spring-loaded, so it's easy to just pull the bulb assembly out from the bottom of the lamp to change the bulb. With the new LED bulb in place, the lamp can now be adjusted to the perfect brightness level for our needs, and it even runs much cooler than it did with the incandescent bulb. We like the lamp. It matches our furniture style, is unique and interesting without being gaudy or obnoxious, and it takes up a very small space on the table.

These lamps are so much more beautiful than you might think. When you turn the light off, in daylight the natural stone is beautiful and continues to compliment the area. When they are lit, the wavelength is welcoming and calming. There is never any glare and no shade to dust.
