I have fine curly mixed hair and other popular gels make my hair look frizzy, stringy, and dry/crunchy. This gel works great on top of my leave in conditioned/wet hair. As it dries it keeps the hold but also is very soft and shiny with no frizz. Washes out easily, scent isn’t strong or unpleasant, worth my money.

Excellent product

It still works the same way it did when I was in high school. I recently had and unfortunate situation with my hair and needed to cut it really, really short. I actually had the shortndo in my twenties, so thank God I know I can pull it off now. One thing that worked for me when I grew it back was a good gel to hold down very short pieces, give hold and shine, no flakes. That was this gel. I had to have a quick go to hair style. I'm so happy that they did not change the formula.

I bought some of this many years ago because . . . it was the cheapest product of the kind I could find. Well, it turned out it was the best product of its kind that I have ever tried. Not that I’ve tried that many, maybe half a dozen. But still. Plus it benefits the late great Danny Thomas’s St. Jude’s Hospital that specialized in the treatment of kids with cancer.

doesn’t hold well. Products come broken. packaging could have been better so the product would broke. I will return to them.
