Odyssey in the rainforest ...
Two bags of this series are in use. The review applies equally to both or to all bags in this series. The smaller NG 2344 holds a Leica M (in addition to a lens and a few small items). The larger tote bag is just for the case that there might be 'something more' when on travel. The National Geographic bags are made and sold by the brand manufacturer Manfrotto. Accordingly the quality. Accordingly the Price tag. Additionally, the 'NG' markup. The NG camera bags come different series. The Rain Forest series described here is one of them. It gets a bit complicated to go through all the various series, especially because Manfrotto / NG maintains country-specific websites and not all series and / or products are offered in all countries (or not anymore). Despite the different Price tags for identical products on them ... However, it should be noted that on their websites NG / Manfrotto neatly specifies the pockets and indicates all measurements - both outside and inside (important) measurements. Ahead I went on a little odyssey with various camera bags. It is not that easy to find a suitable sized bag for smaller equipment. Also to find one that does NOT look like a camera bag and does not scream 'Steal Me'. The design is a matter of taste; love it or hate it. At least it's not commonplace ... The bags are of very high quality. Straps are high-strength. Zippers run clean, without complaint. They are made of plastic. Note: the zippers are not additionally protected with a drawstring (as usual with some camera bags). The inside of the zippers can therefore come into contact with the equipment. Thus plastic zippers have a certain advantage. Push buttons, if available (depending on bag and version) are 'real' push buttons and no modern 'tres chic' magnetic fakes, which can not be trusted, imho. The push buttons also give the impression that they would not give up immediately. They are also sewn accordingly well. Even this NG bags come with some Velcro fasteners (usually not very popular among photographers because of the background noise). Fortunately they cover only some small tab pockets, which you can but must not use. However, the main compartments are 'sealed'. The material is canvas. Extremely light canvas. The bags are (empty of course) incredibly light. Not much more than an envelope (OK, a little over the top). I also own several other canvas bags that are far heavier (in similar dimensions). Everything is sewed very well. The bag is also a bit softer and doesn't rub (full or empty) that much at the hip (like a 'suitcase' does) . This fact also was part of my decision for These NG bags. The fittings are trimmed in old brass. No covered plastic pieces, etc ... The inner life can be adapted, as with all camera bags, with the usual separating elements (via Velcro). Interior comes in the matching design. Most important: interior is light tan and therefore the equipment, especially small parts, are easier to spot. A circumstance that you really appreciate in practice. Not only at night ... The tote bag is probably aimed more at the photographing female audience. Looks even less like a camera bag. It has a small, removable camera insert (which can be subdivided again - see above). In fact, the bag-in-bag system popular with women. My Leica M, with attached lens (and strap) just fits exactly in tote bag' small insert and in turn also fits exactly (if necessary) in the smaller NG 2344. A bag-in-bag-in-bag system. And vice versa. It may sound like nosnsense but it was crucial for me to be able to do that. The reason why I own both bags. When traveling, I see this as an absolute advantage .... One Thing to be improved for the NG 2344: the strap should - as with many camera bags - also be carried out below. This would stiffen the floor element; when putting down the bag as well as while wearing. Should come in the legal book. Rainforest & Co: the matching raincover for the NG 2344 is no longer available. The zipper of the tote bag does NOT seal the bag. There are openings left on the side (as usual for many tote bags). 'Rainforest' should not be taken too literally. Rather a 'style element'. These bags are generally no better or worse like many other high quality camera bags. It is therefore primarily purely about the design. As with all Manfrotto products, the warranty can be extended to 5 years by simple online registration.

Natgeo is the best
I’ve got lots of Natgeo bags and all of them were great. From messengers to backpacks and camera bags. Natgeo never disappoints. And this one is great too. I wanted a small bag since I have a small Nikon mirrorless camera. So I went for it! Despite the tiny look it has plenty of rooms. My camera body, three lenses, batteries, charger, memory sticks and lens converter fit easily in it. It’s also so pretty and classy, even better than the pictures. So pleased with my purchase.

Smaller then I expected, but cute
It's not big enough for books or laptop, it's small, but cute

Excellent quick-access shoulder bag of exceptional design and ruggedness.
I work for land trusts and I bought this bag for the volunteers who monitor our properties. Inside, I placed a Nikon CoolPix P7700 camera and a Garmin GPSMap 62s along with a Rite-in-the-Rain notepad, pencils, and an Adventure Medical Ultralight First Aid Kit in it with plenty of room to spare. Yet it's surprisingly compact. The shoulder bag works perfectly to carry these items with room for folded maps and other bits. There are three padded partitions in the main body of the bag. The shoulder strap is comfortable and wears easily across the body, with the zippered / snapped top readily accessible for quick wildlife shots. When afield, we clip the GPS to the front ring with the Garmin carabiner. It would take a serious rain to soak through the bag, but it wears easily under an anorak or field coat. The logo is what it is, but maybe it makes our volunteers feel like true adventurers. Everyone likes the shoulder bag and now I'm ready to create two more field kits for my other land trust clients. I was steering toward LowePro and other kit bags but I took a chance on this one and I'm glad I did.

I love it!
Excellent camera bag, I'm loving using it! It is very compact, practical, and charming. It carries everything essential that I need for some day trips/sightseeing around Paris, Cancun, county fairs, birthday parties, etc. It can hold one Nikon D7200 camera body with 18-140mm lens, one 50mm lens, extra battery, extra memories, some item for a quick lenses cleaning, a pair of sunglasses, and a smartphone. The external pockets are super useful and handy for some credit cards, ID, and small personal stuff. This bag is not cheap at all but it is totally worth it!

Get out there and take some pictures. This is perfect for quick trips.
Perfect for a small bag to carry my camera. I have a Canon 70D with the standard 18-135mm lens and 55-200mm lens. They both fit in this bag. There are 3 compartments in the main compartment separated by an adjustable padded divider. The front zippered pocket holds plenty too. I carry purse items, extra battery, and battery charger. Love the look too. The web strap is nice although I bought the padded NG 7300 shoulder pad with this. I have multiple camera bags and use this one ALOT. I have a regular big standard camera bag I use for storage, a backpack with padded compartment I use for travel, and this one for around town. Love it!

Overpriced
Even though it’s a pretty nice case, the quality lacks what I expected for the buck. Way overpriced

perfect size for me
I already have a camera bag I love (which I use as a purse AND camera on urban day-excursions) but I needed something smaller that could fit into a backpack for traveling/hiking on trails. I wanted something with padding, but that didn't look like it your standard camera bag (boring!). This fits my Canon Rebel T3 with an attached wide angle lens, and there is enough room for an extra zoom lens, and a couple of accessories (cloths, cleaning tools, lens filters.) This is exactly the size I was looking for, and I can either store it in my backpack for longer hikes, or use it on its own for a shorter walk.

It is a good bag for cameras. My only grouse is that it is looking a little shabby after a few months even though I haven't travelled with it outside Calcutta. But a big thumbs up for the space and organisation.

Its a good bag, For now it allows me to carry both my Binoculars and my mirror-less camera but a little clumsy to use + I am not sure this bag can tolerate a downpour. Its a little high on the price for its performance.
