Its great!
I use this indoors and so far, i havent had any problems. The previous one that i owned from another seller would sometimes leave the larger bugs alive while they kept flapping or leave a puddle of dead flies/mosquitoes around it. Ive noticed that this one kills the bugs instantly (sometimes requiring multiple zaps) and disintegrates most of the mosquitoes that it does kill. There is no noise aside from the zapping and no puddle of dead bugs around it. I was a bit worried at first because it didnt mention anything about pets and i have a curious cat, but it has never hurt her once despite her sticking her nose at it when im not paying attention. I also tried rolling up small pieces of paper to throw at it and it also didnt zap the paper. The only slight issue that ive noticed is that it does make the room a bit warmer when i leave it on for a while, but its no big deal because it gets all the bugs.

Troubles at first but works fine now.
Plugged in, turned off outside lights and left it on overnight. It started working even before I was inside. Was pleased when I got home from work in the morning and it was covered and full of bugs. But it was not zapping anything. Cleaned it. Turned it on again before dusk. Light comes on no zapping. Turned it off cleaned it really well with the included brush. Plugged back in, light works still no zapping. UPDATE: I cannot explain it but after only the light working for 2 nights it started zapping again. And has worked ever since. I am pleased with it. A bit hard to clean properly but other than that good zapper.

It Works!
It works! I put it in the Florida room because I have a cat that loves to go in and out all the time and every time I open the door, mosquitos come in. I was getting bitten by mosquitos everywhere in the house, no more since I plugged this bug zapper in, I can really say it works! I turn it on at night and leave the other lights off in that room so the bugs will be attracted to it, I watch tv in the living room and can hear the occasional zap when one gets too close, it's pretty loud. I do like the metal grating around the light, most of the others similar to this one have plastic grating which could break if knocked over, or deteriorate over time if left outside. I've used it outside and inside but I spend more time inside so this is where I'm keeping it for now. The cord is short so you may need to use an extension cord. Great price and wish I had gotten one years ago!

Works great – no more mosquitoes!
Works really well in my backyard. It attracts and kills mosquitoes and other bugs quickly. Super easy to set up and clean. We've had much more enjoyable evenings outside since using it. Definitely worth it!

It’s pretty good but not as good as the old ones from the 70s and 80s
In this instance, I guess you get what you pay for, although it does kill lots of bugs, the problem is, it is not powerful enough to keep itself clear. I have an old bug zapper from the 1970s that sounds like a bull whip every time something goes in it, but it obliterates Whatever goes in it there’s never any carcasses left shorting it out where this bug zapper although it does kill the insect that goes in it, larger insects like moths it sort of just burns on the metal grid and cooks. It essentially shorts out the bug zapper, so nothing else can get zapped. You need to constantly clean it , otherwise it will stay shorted out and no other bugs will get zapped, small things like mosquitoes don’t seem to be a problem but in the south where I live we have much larger bugs. The old 1970s flow Tron that I have, that doesn’t care what goes in it!!, I don’t know how many volts it is, but man is it powerful . Given that we can’t get the old 1970s technology bug zappers nowadays or if we can they are over $500 this little one for $20 although great for most small bugs, and for the price point seems to be pretty good. Better than most of the $20-$40 range I’ve tried.
