This is perfect for a teen or preteen girl. Would be passable for an adult as well, at least as a good enough solution for a starter.As a single father of 40 with excellent tool and DIY skill but HORRIBLE direction following (free builder with Legos, can't follow directions to save my life), the number of pieces I found inside the box scared the heck out of me. None the less, I started after having calmed down, and spent about 3 1/2 hours start to finish spanning two evenings. If I did it again today knowing the process, I think two solid hours would be about the realistic time it would take me. Plan to spent 3-4 hours on it.The quality is better than I expected at this price point. I believe the quality is about the same is similar things I've picked up at big box or warehouse type stores (no, not a legit furniture store for 5x the cost).Building itself was pretty reasonable. The pictures were decent enough to follow even given the fact that I admit I am horrible at following directions. I used a drill which saved some time and I would suggest it. In fact, all you really need is a #2 Phillips, though a few connections required a stubby short screwdriver or a right-angle drill. I had all of the above.The complaints I have are.. 1) the lights just stick through holes and are not standard bulbs. I put a dab of hot glue on the back from the rear to hold them better as well as secure the wires. 2) the drawers are not on tracks. They are held from falling by adding some of the little faux wood pegs after you have inserted the drawers. I added a dab of glue to these as well to keep them in place. 3) the stool is probably good for a 12-13 year old at best. Plan for something better to use as a seat. 4) exposed attachment points are covered by provided white round stickers. Some plastic or rubber inserts would be better and I will likely replace these or just add some white silicon when the stickers fall off or discolor.I hate to point out those as negatives, but all of those are minor and well within reason for the asking price on amazon.Otherwise, what you see is what you get. I am impressed overall as I stated with the appearance, quality of material, and the thought in attachments and hardware provided. All screw holes were dead on and no problems with any fitting of any parts. (and we had plenty of parts to have gotten wrong with this guy)Definitely recommend.

This vanity was just the right size for my granddaughter's bedroom for Christmas. She fell in love with it. The construction of it is fantastic and it was so easy to put together.

The only part I didn’t like was putting it together because it takes timeeeee!! But definitely worth getting! It’s beautiful, sturdy and good quality.

I'm a single mom, and this was my Childs Christmas from Santa. It only took 5.5 hours on Christmas Eve to assemble (note the sarcasm), LOL. You do need a drill, and I don't have one of those on hand so I'm thankful I was able to snatch one from my brother in time. The instructions were very helpful, step by step. However, I would recommend 2 people (thanks mom for running to the rescue). There were a few "dings" on boards, but nothing too noticeable, just to irritate me. The lights are ok, not too bright and they pop out of the little holes here and there, so I had to use some tape to hold the wires down in the back to keep them in place. Out of all, I would recommend this Vanity to anyone who is looking for a "starter" It's nice, and it's spacey for a smaller area, but later down the road (if this isn't a fad) I would want her to have a nicer one.

Got this vanity for my 13yr old room makeover! It was perfect and she loves it! My husband had no problem putting it together, everything came intact and not scratch up.

It took me a whole day to put it together but I enjoy doing this. All of the pieces were there and the instructions were very easy to follow, just a lot of pieces. My 11 yo granddaughter was so excited when it was finally done! It is a beautiful addition to her room. She has had it now for almost 8 months and it is holding up very well. I highly recommend it.

Came with pre drilled holes but the screws didn’t fit in the holes. Couldn’t assemble myself so had to call for back up
