Does the job for pumping on the go. It is not silent so I wouldn't feel comfortable using it in very quiet places. It was perfect for our recent weekend away when I could pump when my baby was sleeping and we were travelling and then my husband could feed the baby when we arrived. It's also great for reliving engorged breasts if the baby is sleeping and you don't want to wake. I try to pump as little as often so this does do the job- I couldn't comment on how good it is if you want to use it regularly and rely on it.
