Excellent knives very sharp cut perfect well balanced could not fault

Sharp doesn't cut it. This cuts it. I cut myself to ribbons on Christmas day. Should have asked Santa for more plasters. Really good piece of kit. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.

Nice knife, very sharp. Keep your steel close, the edge needs tending to with each use. A couple quick sweeps, to keep it true. Really not kidding, squishing cherry tomato's compared to filleting when the edge is true. Good balance not the best but it works. I like the size, a little smaller than chiefs knife. Great from melons to acorn squash, sturdy blade thickness, that's easy to use. Good for chopping, dicing, slicing. The steel will keep you happy, a sharp knife always works well. The pairing knife works well, a little small for my hand but works. Wash and dry by hand for proper care, a knife block with horizontal storage slits will save edge wear and tear.

The knives arrived with minor scratches on blades and handles. They were not packaged in individual boxes as my previous Wusthof purchases were. They came in a large non descript white box stuffed with kraft paper. They were also housed simple cardboard sleeves.
