Finally — A True 6V Charger You Can Trust
I’ve been looking for a “brainless” charger with a dedicated 6V switch for years, and in 2025 they are much harder to find than you’d think. Most of the modern “smart” chargers refuse to charge a completely dead battery because they assume the polarity might be reversed. That’s fine in theory, but it makes them useless for vintage cars where you just need steady, simple charging. I wasn’t about to trust an “automatic” 6V detection system with my 1956 Mercedes 190SL. That car deserves certainty, not guesswork. This charger is perfect: flip the switch, set the amperage, and it just works. No hesitation, no overthinking, no nonsense. If you maintain vintage vehicles, tractors, or anything running 6V, this is the one to get. Reliable, straightforward, and exactly what’s been missing from the market for years.

It saved my RV batteries
My old charger would not charge my batteries that discharged down to 8 volts. I purchased this battery charger because it had a battery recovery mode. I connected it up to the battery and set it to 12v/10A quickly it went into recovery mode. After about two hours I measured the voltage with my meter and the voltage rose to 10v, after about 4 hours the charger went into charge mode and I measured the voltage at 12.1V. After about 8 hours the battery was fully charged to 13.1v. I did the same to my second RV battery and I had the same results. I was ready to dump these batteries and buy new ones before buy this charger and I am 100% happy with my purchase as it saved me hundreds of dollars. Now others might not have the same results as I did and it will be battery dependent. My batteries are 3 years old and went dead after I left accessories on in the RV for 3 weeks. It was certainly worth a shot to purchase this charger. For the build quality, it is plastic and I was surprised at how small and light it was and did not seem to be very durable, yet it was perfectly fine. The LED's are super bright, so bright that it is hard to read mode lettering below them. Overall I like this and would buy again but the long term reliability remains to be seen.

Best Light Weight, Easy to use, safety featured Charger on the Market.
This is the best non-automatic charger, easy to use one I could find, and it works. This little powerhouse will bring up the deadest 6v or 12v automotive/golf cart battery if life remains within the battery. Just hook it up, plug it in and select battery voltage, the 2 or 10 amp charge rate, and flip the switch to on. The great thing I like about this charger is the analog charge gauge. I never have to worry about the digital types cutting off due to some sensing issue. In addition, you cannot hook it up wrong because it will provide safety precautions to help you if you have not used a charge before.

too big
It's a digital. I don't really care for anything that is all digital. It's big. There are smaller ones out there that are easier to use.

Faulty product
The first time I needed to use it it did not work. I'm struggling financially and I don't like my money being wasted like this. Now that I need it it does not work. It turns on but has no voltage for charging

Works properly about half the time...
This works on regular wet-cell batteries but misbehaves on sealed and AGM batteries, often clicking over to "Charged" and doing nothing when I know the battery is discharged. It has overrides for "Incorrect Connection" that are in error. I'll probably give this one away and buy a better tool.
