This particular mount allowed me to install the down rigger on my pontoon boat rail. It is well made, fitted the rail in a manner that allows you to manage the heavy weight required to fish in this manner. No wobble, strong and secures in a manner that does not risk damage to the boat or loss of your equipment.

Easy to put together and easy to mount

This works much better than I had thought it would. It holds a LOT of weight. We used some small square wood wedges in places for a more even tightening.
