I bought this newer updated version to replace my old leaking spa pump , a good choice and happy with it

Absolutely ideal having the WiFi to control the heating of the unit. Scheduled for night time heating to get cheaper electric tariff. Just hope it lasts longer than its predecessor which was 3 years.

Stopped working after a month. Returned in July 2025. Still waiting for my refund from seller. Extremely poor.

Previous pumps have had a relatively short lifespan, between 2 and 4 years,due to leaks occurring in the inner circulation system.

This is my 2nd replacement pump. Previous ones have leaked or had non return valve problem on the air blower pipe. Valve is inaccessible so only solution is a make do valve from Amazon, which sometimes helps.When working it is fine, but connecting to Lazyspa app for WiFi control is difficult. Using the Bestway app instead seems to work well enough for basic control. Be aware that if the pump goes offline (which it does without warning when the filter needs changing) it will turn off the pump which needs a manual restart, so no WiFi control, circulation or frost protection if you are away.Replacement under guarantee (1 year, or two if you register) from Lazy Spa will involve you photographing the unit disabled before they will replace. If pump needs replaced again then the guarantee runs from original purchase date so my faulty replacement was not under guarantee despite being only 6 months old.However I guess if you are looking at this then you are going Lazy Spa regardless. Lazy Spa often don’t have stuff in stock so Amazon is my ‘go to’ for their hot tub products. I also had to replace a liner under guarantee so maybe you should consider life span and budget accordingly.

Wotkd well as a replacement for the original. WiFi can be tricky to setup, once configured it does the job well.

Came well packaged in time.Wifi set up it’s brilliant can turn it on from Greece for my daughter at home.
