Never punch one wire at a time again
I've only ever done the old fashioned way of punching down one wire at a time, and like other reviewers mention, occasionally poking myself or the wall or whatever else with the old tool. This thing is awesome. I searched for a tool only out of despair not wanting to punch any more keystones down, and to my delight, a tool existed. Why did I ever do it the old way? The time saved doing even just 5 of these would make it worth buying. The tool works great. Their keystones seem to be fine, too, which you must use to use this tool. The 45° angle thing seems smart (it keeps the wires more in line with the wire than the traditional 90° bend), but I wasn't shopping specifically for that.Crimper seems to do its job on 1-2 crimps, and trimmed my Cat6A wire just fine!

Makes quick work of punching down a cat 6 jack.
Only wished I had found this years ago!just lay the wires in the slots, stick it in the tool, give a quick squeeze and then move on to the next jack! It's just that easy, quicker and much safer than the old way.seems to be well built and should last for years! It should will pay for itself in saved time very quickly! Great value for the money!

This might be the Last Termination Tool you buy
This tool goes perfectly Everest Media Solutions keystone jack line and while you don't need this tool to use the 45 degree jacks, you do need the 45 degree keystone jacks to use this tool. This may very well be that face of future keystone jacks.Everest Media Solutions, 45Term - 45° CAT6 Keystone Jackhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BCHH568LThe 45 degree concept allows the wires to be pulled over the connection points without unwrapping the wires. You simply pull the pair towards the correct terminals, make an opening in the twist and seat the pair between the posts, repeating the process for all four pair. Once all four pair are seated, you are ready to actually insert the wires between the connecting terminals. More on this below.Since you are looking at CAT6 equipment it is likely you will be using CAT6 cable, which has a very tight twist. That twist is there to help prevent or Near End Cross Talk (NEXT) which is an issue in many high speed networks. When the twist is removed to punch down the wires, that introduces noise on the network. When attached correctly, this jack helps in keeping a tight twist on each pair and this tool makes quick and secure terminations. You also need some other proper tools to make a proper connection. The follow list is the tools I use and I’ve been able to make a solid connection in just over one minute.Keystone Jack Punch Down Stand and Plastic Punch Down Tool with Stripperhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SSR1PRWPlastic Pencil Type Spudger, 5/16" Diameter x 6" Lengthhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9JTKPH3This is the tool and jacks I will be using for the future. It’s light weight, sturdy, dependable and makes solid high speed connections. I recently finished a 200 port facility and there hasn’t been a single issue with the wiring. It’s been 50 years since my first punch with an impact tool and I finally have something to be excited about.

46 connectors in 3 hours Impressed!!!
I did 46 Connectors in 3 hours. And that is with taking the time to thoroughly looking at each connector closely to make sure they were good. Plus moving and setting up at 11 locations in the home. Perfect every time. The 45degree connectors make life easier and leaves a very neat job. Only one snag: The retainer washer on one of the pins fell out and the pin dropped to the floor. I cound not find the retainer washer so had to keep putting the pin back in when it wanted to come out again. The local hardware store did not have the right one but I made one to get by until I can find the exact fit. I will keep using thjis method. Fantastic idea!

Another tool for the KIT.
I bought this tool along with Everest’s angled keystone jacks, and it’s been a real time-saver. The build quality feels solid and durable, not flimsy like some cheaper punch-down tools I’ve used before. The angled design makes it much easier to seat the wires correctly, and I really appreciate that it cuts down on mistakes during termination. Functionality-wise, it works exactly as intended, but it’s important to note this only works with Everest’s 45° keystone jacks, not standard ones. After multiple uses, it’s held up well with no signs of wear, so I expect it to last me through a lot of installs. The color and markings make it easy to spot in my toolkit. Overall, a high-quality, well-designed tool that does what it promises and saves me time on every job.

A must have for 45° keystones!
As I've said in my previous reviews, I love everything that Everest Media Solutions makes that I've bought so far. They make the best patch panels, the best keystones, and now even the best termination tool. This silly little tool saves me so much time on jobs compared to terminating 45° keystones with a pocketknife. Very happy with my purchase, and I expect this tool to make me thousands more over time!
