Works well for office work
I brought it for my office meeting and works perfectly with Team and zoom. Earlier I was using a headset that had a cushion on it and whenever I remove it I use to think I have an indentation on my head. These headsets are perfect for long office hours. I was skeptical at first about whether to spend so much money on the headset, but it's comfortable. The only downside would be listening to music is not good. Also, others can hear the conversation if you keep the volume higher.

Headset replaced when I found it had the wrong connector
As soon as I unpacked the headset I found it had the wrong connector- it had a "quick connector", used by staff in call centres. When I contacted the seller, they immediately replaced it with a headset that had the USB connector I needed. A really great service. And a great piece of kit

Pretty good - probably a 4.5
Typically, I am a Bluetooth earbud kinda guy for my work calls, connect via a mobile, into the AirPods and away we go. But there are a couple of limitations with that setup, 1st being mobile signal where I live is intermittent at best, and 2nd is battery life on the ear pods. With all meetings now being Virtual (Webex, MS Teams, Zoom etc) and the collaboration tools being aimed at the soft phone approach I thought it was worth a go. I have to say, my initial impressions of this headset for an RRP of £69.99 i was a little underwhelmed. The build quality is OK, but hardly premium. At the circa £50 price tag they are now selling at it feels more like it. They are pretty light weight - which is positive if you are going to be wearing them all day, and to be honest, I think this is exactly where this headset is aimed. Long use, call centre type environment where people will have them on all day. For that, these are perfect, light weight, relatively in-expensive and well made enough. As far as using the product, this is where the price tag begins to be easier to justify. The sound and mic quality is impressive, and I have had people actively comment on how clear i am. There is an in-line volume rocker and mute button, which Mutes the headset, but doesn't seem to mute the collaboration tool (WebEx) that I am using - no massive issue but its possible to fall foul of the dreaded double mute (new phrase for 2020 it seems)... The cable length i think is sufficient at over 2m, i can move around enough so that I don't feel chained to my desk - OK i can't go make a cuppa (unless i take my laptop with me) but if i want to do that that's when i swap back to the bluetooth AirPods approach i mentioned earlier. The only small negative is that my ears seem to get rather warm when using, and due to the double earpiece this can be a bit uncomfortable after a while. You can pull one side off your ear, but then they don't feel fully balanced. Only a small niggle - and maybe as the winter sets in i will be glad of it :) I will definitely continue to use these, they have made my video calls easier, not having to worry about poor mobile signal or battery life of my AirPods. I would have liked to give them a 4.5 - but that's not an option, and its only on a few small points where they fall down. In summary, if you are looking for a great sound quality, simple and easy to use headset for a soft phone or remote collaboration then this is a great option and for the cash (despite the slightly sub-premium build quality) is actually probably a pretty good deal.

Comfortable for all day use mono headset
The Jabra Biz 1500 Mono Headset is a lightweight headset that connects to your pc via USB-A. When connected to my windows 10 work pc it was detected and windows set it up without any intervention from me. It is a corded headset with a LONG cord; that is split in the middle by a control unit with a mute and volume switch. The control unit has short press but clicky buttons that help you know you pressed them. The mute button has an LED light around it so you know its muted. The mute button also mute you in the call in ms teams rather than just in the headset; which is great for others know you are on mute. Being a mono headset there is only one padded ear cup but its padded in foam and there isnt any covering over it. I suspect these choices helps make the headset so light. The headset doesn't feel super grippy - it didn’t squeeze my head even after a morning of calls. The light weight of the headset makes it comfortable to wear for long periods - and the fairly open design stops you getting sweaty ears. That said the light weight does make it feel somewhat cheap. The microphone will orient so you can wear the ear cup over your left or right ear as you desire. The microphone boom is also slightly flexible so you can move it towards your mouth if you need to. The audio from the headset sounds good and the volume will go loud if you need it to - one downside to the one open ear design is you do get distracted more by outside noise. From the microphone i had no complaints for those i was trapped on calls with so far today. The list price of the headset feels high for what you are getting. It shipped in a plastic bag packaging without a box; which saves on packaging cost and waste. The light weight design of the headset is a double edged sword. I suspect has cost them money to achieve a well made headset that weighs so little. The light weight makes the headset feel a cheap though. I want to believe Jabra have engineered it to be light as possible whilst still being resilient . It doesn’t feel especially flimsy despite weight under a hundred grams. I think is maybe what you are paying for - a well engineered light weight headset with a good speaker and microphone that you can wear most all of the day. If i were using it outside of work i would question why in 2020 it has a usb-a port when computers are moving to usb-c at a pace - including an adaptor in the plastic bag it ships in would have been a nice touch.

Ridiculously short lead
For £50, they could have included enough lead. The lead is way too short for effective use, and requires an extension.
